3rd POV

Kix found out

Ariana was hiding her laughter at Rex's face when Kix dragged him and Kaldur away to the med bay.

"I'll tell him, you know," He told her with a glare

"You wouldn't dare" She threatened. Kaldur was referring to the multiple shot wounds splattered across Ariana's arms, which she neglected to block when she was fighting

"I would dare" Kaldur smirked. Ariana flipped him off as he vanished around the corner.

"What was he going to say?" Wolffe asked

"Nothing. He's just jealous he lost the bet" Ariana lied, then Kix poked his head out from the med bay

"That's not what I heard..." He frowned. Ariana turned tail and ran

"Get back here" Kix set his gun to stun and ran after her, aiming as he did.

It was nearly half an hour later when he managed to drag her back to the med bay

"Kaldur, you rotten μικρός γαμημένος" Ariana scowled as Kix shoved her onto one of the many blue beds. Wolffe was laughing his head off, and while Kix had his back turned, Ariana rolled off the bed and dissolved into water vapour

"Where did she go?" Kix frowned

"She's right now hiding in her water vapour form," Kaldur said

"I hate you" Ariana cussed, then solidified

"Can you please roll up your sleeve?" Kix asked her. Ariana glared at Kaldur as she waved her hand to make her sleeve vanish

Rex rolled his eyes and swapped to Atlantean "When he turns away, follow me. I know the vents like the back of my hand"

"Got it," Ariana said, trying to ignore Kix's questioning looks as he treated the blaster wounds on her arm.

It was a solid twenty minutes of torture before they all crawled into the vents to escape. However, Kix saw the tip of Rex's boot wriggle away

"Where'd they go?" Wolffe asked

"The vents" Kix sighed

"I'll go get them" Wolffe grinned "It's been a while since the last good chase I had" Wolffe wriggled into the vents and crawled after them.

Ariana pulled into the larger chamber, waiting for Kaldur and Rex. When they both finally came through, she started whispering

"Someone has followed. Separate and meet back here at 17:00 hours" She said, then crawled into a shaft to the right.

"Wolffe" Rex whispered "Kix must have enlisted him"

"We're at war against Kix and his horrid med bay" Kaldur smiled "See you at 5, Buir" He crawled away. Rex smiled and took the unused route.

Wolffe stopped at the intersection, listening for the group of three escapees. He heard them in all the tunnels, so he kept going straight, where he heard Rex.

"γαμημένος" He heard someone cuss. A grin overtook his face as he came across...Nothing. With a huff, he moved to turn around and was unable to due to the tight quarters of the vent

"Great" he muttered, then continued forward.

Ariana smirked from her position, watching Wolffe crawl right past her. With a snigger, she continued. She could hear Kaldur stuck in an intersection a few feet ahead. She peered into a shaft, and sure enough, he was stuck halfway through a hole. He looked up

"Hi" He mumbled

"Do you need help?" Ariana smirked

"Yes," He admitted. Ariana smiled and pulled her lifelong friend from the vent.

"Be more careful" Ariana whispered "Any sound will echo to Rex and Wolffe"

"Should we swap to Atlantean?" Kaldur whispered

"No. Just stay silent and use our link" Ariana mumbled

"It was severed when you went to Percy's wedding," Kaldur said

"We'll have to fix that, won't we?" Ariana smiled.

They made their way to the intersection where they agreed to meet up. Rex was there waiting, his helmet now coated in dust.

"So, we seem to have evaded the med bay" Rex grinned

"Yes, we did" Ariana added "What next?"

"Fixing our link?" Kaldur reminded her

"Right" Ariana nodded, then turned to Rex "This will sound weird"

The two locked gazes

"αποκαταστήστε ό,τι χάθηκε, επιδιορθώστε ό,τι ήταν ολόκληρο" They chanted, a green glow writhing out from their interlocked hands and creeping up their arms "Διόρθωσε ό,τι είναι σπασμένο, ψυχή δεμένη με την ψυχή" The green glow sank into them, and vanished.

Rex was utterly dumbfounded by the light show that had just emanated from his ad and Ariana. He knew a few words of Ancient Greek, but this was a whole new tier of power. For a few faint moments, he swore up and down he saw a crown on Ariana's head.

Translation for the chant:

Restore what was lost, repair what was whole. Fix all that is broken, soul bound to soul
