The trip to San Diego was so...delicious to use a word to describe it. But I was back home now which meant going back to the routine. I still couldn't believe what Anne had done to me but I was better after the trip.
And as my mom always says, "Everything happens for a reason, and this too shall pass".
Which was true. I started to hang out more with Mia and Valerie which was great! And I had gotten to know Valerie more and what a great person she was.
Sean continued to be the jerk he was but well I guess somethings never change.
"So, everybody, I'm changing your seats today". Said our tutor. I was praying that I got seated somewhere nearby Valerie and luckily I did.
But unluckily they seated Sean besides me and John behind me.
This teacher wanted me dead or something, omg I swear.
"Oh yeah what a great place". Said Thompson with a joking tone.
Please don't do this to me!
Let this be a dream I beg you.
At the end of the class, the tutor Ms. Mace called my name.
"Mary look, I know you don't get along with Thompson but he needs your help. He's been failing everything and I need you to please help him so he can pass the subjects. I know you are a super smart and patient girl; can I count on you? I can totally understand if you say no, I know your history with Sean".
Omg he's failing everything ?! I mean I knew he was not very smart but this?
"Ok, I'll do it Ms. Mace". I said after a minute of thinking about it.
"Oh thank you so much, and if anything happens I'll take care of it ok? Just tell me".
"Thanks Ms. Mace".
And with that I left school.
What could possibly be happening to him so that he is doing this.

THOMPSON'S POV:
The week Mary was in San Diego
I got called into Ms. Gomez's office. My dad was there and that's when the nerves started to kick in. Shit, he knows about them, I'm so screwed.
"Sit down please Mr. Thompson". Said Ms. Gomez.
I seat besides my dad and listen to what Ms. Gomez has to say.
"Here's the thing Sean, you are one "F" away from having to put of that door, you have been failing everything, including P.E., so either you start putting some effort to all your subjects or you can say good bye to this school".
Ok, now I'm screwed.
"Um, excuse me principal Gomez, what do you mean with what you just said?". Asked my dad
"Exactly what you heard Mr. Thompson. Your son here has been failing every subject their is in this school and-".
"I'll do it". I said looking at my lap
"Um excuse me?" Asked principal Gomez.
"I'll do the best I can, for the rest of the year. But I think I'll need some help. Can I get some?" I said looking up.
"Of course, I'll take care of that don't worry, just promise me you'll try your best".
"Of course principal".

When I arrived home instead of receiving a "Hello" from my dad, I received a punch right in my eye.
That's definitely leaving a mark. I thought
"WHAT THE FUCK SEAN, I FUCKING GIVE YOU EVERYTHING AND THIS IS HOW YOU PAY ME BACK YOU UNGRATEFUL LITTLE SPOILED ASSHOLE".
A kick
"YOU ARE JUST LIKE YOUR MOTHER".
Another punch
"YOU SHOULD HAVE LEFT WITH HER".
A slap
"Listen to me you little asshole, either you do your best and do things how they are supposed to or you will be sent to military school and that's final". My dad said spitting on me.
