Chapter 26

Today was different, but in a good way. Everything went back to normal, I sat on my usual spot besides Sean again, we even retook our tutoring sessions and everything went great. Well, except for the part where my friends thought I was really stupid for forgiving him but other than that it went great.

The best part was that I didn't have to walk home or wait for my mom anymore because Sean was taking me home again.
"I think I now realize why you forgave me." Sean said on our way to my place.
"Oh really? Why?" I asked looking quizzically at him.
"Because I'm your ride home, I take you home for free everyday as soon as we get out and you don't have to wait for your mom to arrive or you don't have to walk and risk the chance to get your things wet". He said glancing briefly at me and then back at the road.
"Pfff nooo, why on earth would you say that". I replied in a joking tone.
"I don't know, maybe it's just a hunch". He said a small smile forming on his face.

We soon arrived and he grabbed my arm not letting me get out of the car. "I love you, you know that?"
"Yes, I know that".
"Good". Thompson replied pulling me in for a kiss.
"I'll see you later Angel".
"Sure thing". I said stepping out of the car and getting in the house.

Today I was going to go to Sean's to pay Rosie a visit, since it had been a long time since I last saw her, and boy how I missed that little girl. I think I missed her more than I did her brother.

So after we ate and dad went back to work I headed to their house. Once I was there, I didn't have to ring the doorbell because the door opened and behind the huge door was my favorite Thompson. I immediately ran towards the little girl who was screaming my name in anticipation.
"Maryyyyyy". She said as I made my way towards her.
I picked her up and twirled around with her a couple of times.
"Oh how I've missed you little munchkin!" I said as I put her back down.
"Let's go play!" Rose said with enthusiasm. "I missed you". She said stopping for a moment and hugging my legs tightly.
"I missed you too honey, but I'm here now, let's go play".

We ran up the stairs to Rosie's room where it seemed as if she already had everything planned out for our afternoon together.

There was a little tea set out on a table along with some dolls hanging out at a doll house and a little kitchen packed with stuff.
"What should we play first?" I asked the little girl besides me.
"Dolls!" She said with excitement.
"Dolls it is".

We were playing for a while when my boyfriend (it feels so funny to call him that) came to pay us a visit.
"There are my top favorite girls". He said from his spot at the door frame.
"Hi big brother, we're playing dolls". Said little Rose gesturing to her dolls.
"Rosie, why don't we play tea now and we can include your brother that way, what do you say?" I asked her.
"Yes! Great idea Mary". She said making her way towards the little table.
Sean looked at me shaking his head lightly as if saying he didn't want to play with us.

Rose told us to sit down and we began playing. I was Ms. Ward and Sean was Mrs. Pierce.
We were wearing funny hats and feathers.

We had so much fun and sooner than we expected it was dinner time. I told them I had to go, but they insisted that I stayed with them.

After a few minutes I agreed to stay and we ordered pizza and watched Barbie movies to which Sean wasn't very happy about but we watched them anyways.

Rosie had fallen asleep in my arms and we took her to bed.
"I should probably head back now". I whispered as we closed Rosie's door.
"I'll take you don't worry". Said Thompson grabbing my hand guiding me to his car.

The ride home was a silent one, there was only the music and the street sounds accompanying us on our way back to my house. Although we weren't speaking we were comfortable just enjoying each others company like when I hang out with Viv and we don't speak, we're both on our phones, enjoying each others company.

We arrived sooner than we expected, we kissed briefly before I went back home.
"I love you baby, more than you'll ever know, more than words can describe". Sean said, caressing my cheek. I kissed him in return, longer than the other kiss.
"I really should go now, otherwise my mom will kill me". I said pecking his lips one last time.

Ugh! I love him so much.

I waved goodbye as he drove away. I entered my house and my brother was there waiting for an explanation.
"Care to explain? You hated his guts less than a week ago". He said his arms crossed.
"Well...you see..." I explained everything to him and to my mom, who decided to appear magically from the kitchen. "...and now we're back together". I said looking down at my shoes.
"Well honey, if he makes you happy and makes you feel this way, then I can spare him". She said smiling at me.
"Fine, I won't chop his balls off then". My brother said rolling his eyes. I hugged them both and then went to my room.

Once in my room I called Viv to tell her everything.
"Good thing I didn't chop his balls off, otherwise I would've had to find lions to feed them to". I laughed at her comment. "I'm glad you guys are ok now". Viv said more calmly now.
"Thanks Viv, he really does make me happy". I said.
"Now we can go on double dates!" Viv said excitedly.
"Omg yes! We totally have to do that".

We talked some more about her situationship with Noah and then we had to hang up, decided we were both terribly tired.

But before I could doze off into dreamland I got a text from Sean

I went to sleep that night with a smile on my face thinking on how much I love this man.
