Chapter 11

I ran to my room as soon as I entered the house and I shut the door and immediately called Viv.
Please pick up
"Hey girl, what's up?". Viv said through the phone.
"We almost kissed". I was still shocked about the events that almost took place.
"YOU WHAT?!" Asked Viv through the phone "Wow wow wow, how did that happen?".

I started explaining everything to her and while I was at it, I still didn't believe my own words.

"Oh my god you should've done it. Ugh, stupid ass car that had to ruin your kiss. It would've been epic". I blushed at her comment. "Maybe, but it would've been very uncomfortable you know?". I said while I made patterns on the floor.

"Who cares about that live the moment. Next time something like that happens don't think about it just kiss him".
"VIV omg, no!" I blushed even more and a little smile formed on my lips.
"Oh come on, you so wanted it to happen".
"Well...I did realize something".
"WHAT, OMG HE'S IN-LOVE WITH YOU ISN'T HE I KNEW IT". Viv sounded so excited but no, that was not it.
"No he's not in-love with me calm down".
"THEN WHAT IS IT?" I had to pull the phone away from how loud her voice was.
"Well...I maybe might have caught feelings for him". I said flinching to prepare for her reaction.
"I KNEW IT, I KNEW IT, I KNEW IT I. FUCKING. KNEW. IT". Yep that was exactly what I was waiting for.
"Are you going to tell him?"
"Of course not! Are you crazy?"
"Ok, I get your point but what are you going to do about it then?"
"Nothing , absolutely nothing. I'm just going to keep acting normal, like there's nothing going on".
"Ok, I can support that idea".
"So, tell me about you, how was your date?"
"He was so yummy but so dumb, and he made me pay for everything; we didn't kiss because I wasn't going to kiss him if he made me pay for everything. So we are just friends now, which is you know...nice he's a nice guy but definitely not boyfriend material".
"Well I was going to say I'm sorry, but since things had a good turn then I won't. I am sorry it didn't turn out as you planned it though".
"Nah it's ok".

We talked some more and then I had to hung up because I had to actually start getting ready for dinner at grandma's.

THOMPSON' S POV

Fuck! That was close! I thought as I was driving around town because I wasn't ready to go back home. Not after that almost happened. Right now I just needed to be alone.

God! When did she get so hot. Wait what no I can't, what are the others going to say about this. I can't like her. For Gods sake! I fucking bullied her.

Oh but she's so perfect and the way she treats my little sister. I had never seen anybody show so much love towards her like Mary does.

Just accept it Sean, you are falling for her.
I mean how do you want me not to.
She's so smart and pretty and kind and...and she forgave me even after all the shit I put her through she forgave me and she agreed to help me knowing I could've put her through so much shit.
And even after that she forgave me, made me look good with my sister and she agreed to keep helping me.

Who the fuck does that. Only her. She has such a beautiful heart. How could I not fall for her.

I arrived home and I was greeted with a hug from Rose. Thankfully, my dad's job implied him traveling a lot so we almost all the time were alone.
"Sean? When can Mary visit us again?". A light chuckle left my lips at the little girl's comment.
"Soon, I promise kiddo" I picked her up and started to walk towards the kitchen "but right now you need to eat. Do you want pizza for dinner?"
"Yeyyy pizza". And so I took out the ingredients to make pizza.

That night I couldn't sleep, I tossed and turned with only one person on my mind. Mary.

I couldn't get her out of my mind. The way her skin felt against mine. The way our breaths became one and I couldn't stop thinking on how her lips would've felt against mine.
I love how she smells like a mixture of soft vanilla which counterparts the strong smell of that wonderful perfume she wears.

She was driving me crazy and I couldn't help it. I could only hope for her to feel the same.
Although I wasn't going to try anything until I knew that I was going to be able to stay here with her.
I swear she is the best human being I have ever met.

I just hope that one day I can make her mine.
