"Why am I here?" I asked my former self, Nagi Travers, who's standing in front of me.

"Don't panic too much; we're not in that white-encased world that you go to after you die," he said calmly.

"Huh?" I utter those words because I can't really understand what's happening now.

"We're inside you, or, much easier, we're inside your consciousness," he explained.

"It seems like you were having an inner turmoil, and that's what creates me," he added.

"What are you saying?" I asked.

"Are you still refusing to accept the truth? Once the word bullying comes to your mind, your mind always becomes unstable," he said.

"Huh? What are you saying? You're not making any sense!" I shouted at him.

"I know it because I am you," he said calmly, not paying attention to me, who was shouting.

"Me, Nagi, your past self, and you, Will the reincarnator, are both inside the same body. We're supposed to always be together, but your mind becomes unstable after hearing the word bullying," he explained.

"Okay, let's say that I believe what you're saying; then what do you want?" I asked Nagi.

After he heard that, he started to kneel down on the ground and bow his head as if he were about to ask something from me.

"Please, Will, I beg you, please conquer our trauma!" he said, then continued bowing without moving a muscle as if waiting for my answer.

"Conquer our trauma?" I asked, looking at him.

"Save that girl; please stop the bullying!" He said while continuing to grovel.

"I can't; that's her fault for not paying what she owed," I said.

"Please stop being scared of Jake and Mary! You have the power to stop it now! Please use it!" He said, still groveling.

The faces of those two bullies come to mind. They're the reason why I became like that in my past life. Even now that I have the power to stop them, I'm still scared of them.

"Just remembering their faces can make me this scared, and now you're asking me to stop someone's bullying?" I shouted at him.

"I don't even think about fighting back against Jake and Mary, and now you're asking me to save someone who is getting bullied?" I continue shouting at him.

"You know it too, I always regret it, just letting myself get bullied and just accepting it. I always give reasons like "they're strong", "I can't fight back", "I'm weak," and just let them do what they want, but deep down I really just want to escape, even my death, if not only because of that child, I must be hanging myself there," he said, starting to cry but still groveling.

"But right now we have the power to stop it; didn't we promise that we would live a life without any regret? So don't escape!" he said those words, and it really hit me; tears started to fall out of my eyes.

"Please don't escape anymore; save that girl, Will!" He shouted, then finally raised his head to look at me.

"I don't want to have any regrets anymore, and I know you too, because you are me," he said, smiling at me.

"Please conquer your trauma"

BULLIED GIRL'S POV

"Now hit her Werk!" shouted Alad with a smile plastered on his face.

Werk took his stance and then started to activate his swordsmanship skill.

I'm afraid; I don't want to take that. Tears won't stop coming out of my eyes, and just imagining that that thing would hit me makes me cry even more.

"Please, I'll do anything; I'll pay you threefold next time; just don't hit me with that! "I plead.

"I beg you, Alad, please!" I said, then groveled in front of him.

"That won't do Crestia, for you to feel remorse for what you did; you must take punishment or it won't be fair to others, right?" He said, still smiling.

This guy, Alad, I hate him with every ounce of my being, but I can't fight back. I'm too scared; to me, he's someone that I can't beat no matter what I do.

"Now Werk!" Alad shouted, signaling Werk to activate his skill.

"Horizontal slash!" Werk shouted then activated his skill.

I'm scared. I don't want to get hurt, but I can't do anything. I closed my eyes, bracing myself for the pain that I would feel.

"Please, Alad!" I shouted my last plea before getting hit, even though I knew that it was pointless.

But as I kept bracing myself for Werk's attack, nothing hit me.

Ten seconds passed, and there was still nothing that hit me; instead, I heard Alad's voice.

"Who the fuck are you?" Asked by Alad, it sounds like he's really pissed.

"I-I'm just a normal boy who can't ignore someone in need," said a boy with a familiar voice his voice is shaking as if he's afraid.

"Huh?!" Alad said, sounding so pissed.

I opened my eyes to see the boy who dared to interrupt Alad's punishment, and I was surprised to see him.

He was in front of me, holding a wooden sword that stopped Werk's attack. That boy, whom I always treat unfavorably, even though he didn't do anything to me,

"Why are you here, Will?" I asked.

He looked at me then, as if he couldn't believe what he saw. He also made a surprised face.

"Crestia?" He asked as if he couldn't believe that I was the one he just saved.

Yes, I am Crestia, the one who's always pissed at you and the one who always treats you badly, so why are you here? Why did you save me?

"Oh, you know each other! Is that why you saved her? Huh? Mister hero?" Alad asked Will, then unsheathed his sword.

Alad has an iron sword that he keeps, and he always carries it whenever he will punish someone, and that someone is me right now, but with the looks of what's happening right now, he's going to use it against Will.

I take a look at Will's face; he's scared. I didn't notice it earlier, but his knees are shaking.

Then why did he save me? Why did you save me even though you were scared? Can you even fight? Alad is a fifth-year student, and you're just a first-year student. Do you stand a chance?

So many thoughts keep circling in my mind, but I still can't do anything. I'm afraid of Alad. No matter what I do, I can't beat Alad. Even though you saved me, I can't do the same thing to you.

"I'm sorry," I whispered, and he seemed to hear it, so he looked at me, then made an awkward smile.

"Don't worry, leave it to me," he said, still looking scared.

Oh, you have the guts to fight me? You're an interesting fellow," Alad said, looking amused.

"Werk, don't interfere; I'll show this little hero who he's trying to fight against." Alad ordered Werk then he take his stance, holding his iron sword.
