Ella's POV

"What is happening?" Xylo shouts. I move to them. All eyes on me. "I was showing you how confusing and dangerous these woods are. You take your eyes off someone for one second and you might never find them again. That is unless you know your way around." I tell them all. "Now, We are going to walk calmly in a single file line. You are all to follow me. You do not leave each others sights. If you get lost, stay where you are. I will find you. Do Not Move until I find you." I tell them.

"This forest is not a joke! A lot of people have gotten lost and died in here." I say. "As a former sheriff i'm pretty sure I could find my way out." Jax tells me. I glare at him. "The majority of people who have died in here have been cops and sheriffs. The only people who have survived without help have been people like me. Now. Let's go. Keep your eyes on eachother. And if you notice someone is gone. Tell me. Now, follow me." I tell them as I start walking.

We've now been walking for almost an hour. I check behind me every few minutes to make sure everyone is still behind me. "How long will it be before we get out of the forest?" Ritchie asks me. "If no one gets lost? It will take about one more hour. And then where we get out it will take about thirty minutes to make it to the precinct." I tell him. "That's less time than walking on the highway! Why didn't you take us through here in the first place!" Xylo complains.

"Because I honestly thought and still think the only person that can handle going though here is Ritchie." I tell him. I glance back at Ritchie. "I actually ran in here from you a few times." I tell him. "Of Course you hide in here." He says with a small chuckle. After that we all fall into silence. Until Xylo breaks it. "Uhhhh Inmo is gone." He says. I stop walking and turn around. And sadly he is right. Inmo is missing. "Do we really need him?" I ask.

"Yes we need him." Ritchie tells me. I groan. "You all either sit down or stay still. I'll be back." I tell them as I walk the way we came from. "Be careful." Ritchie tells me before I get out of their eyesight. After a few minutes of walking I find Inmo. "There you are, lets go." I tell him. He looks at me and starts to laugh. It's the kind of laugh that puts a chill down your back. "What is wrong with you?" I ask him, taking a small step back from him. "No, what's wrong with you?" Inmo asks, a needle in his hand. I'm not fast enough, but next thing I know he jumps on me. Making me fall to the forest floor.
