The next morning Aurora woke up with shouts as her alarm, and she knew exactly what it was.

It is probably Dad and Aiden arguing again she mumbled to herself as she laid back to sleep again but the noise was too much, she checked her phone to find out that it was only 3 am. She stood up making her warm feet hit the cold floor as the walked downstairs to where the noise was coming from.

She stood at the last step frozen as she immediately saw her dad throw a punch at Aiden's face, she covered her mouth trying not to scream as tears rushed down her eyes seeing both her father and her brother wrestling on the floor.

As soon as her brother noticed her he pushed his father away from his body before turning to her direction, walking towards her, Aurora stepped back to keep a distance from him ."Aurora you are supposed to be in bed now" He said scratching her hair."And how am I gonna sleep when you people won't stop all this nonsense."She said before running to her room crying.

Aurora stayed up crying till it was 7 am. Knock knock! She heard from her door."Go away!"She responded."Aurora knows you are angry but you have to come out, someone is waiting for you outside"Aiden replied standing close to the door to hear when she was coming or not. Aurora rolled from her bed to the floor, standing up she looked outside her window to see a girl packing her blond hair in a ponytail. Layla.

Aurora prayed, brushed, bath, and dressed in a more simple way, she opened her door to see a plate of cookies below her, and she quickly threw everything in her bag  excluding the plate as she ran downstairs."Be back soon!"Aiden told her as she nodded without looking at him or even knowing it was him who talked.

"Hey there!So sorry for keeping you waiting for so late"Aurora apologized."It's okay I could keep my mind occupied by your brother, he is so cute but I am still wondering why he has a contusion on his face"Layla wondered before she gave me a big fat hug which was simulated by Aurora.

"Emm, he probably scratched himself so hard, so where are we going today uhh?"Aurora asked as they both started walking down the streets after Layla smashed her lips together to smash the lipstick mixture she had on."I was thinking we could go shopping"Layla shared with her, her thoughts ."And with which money?"Aurora asked curiously.

"My brother's"Layla replied with a wide smirk on her face while looking down at her.."You stole it!"Aurora exclaimed ."Maybe, but don't worry I would return it soon, and he wouldn't know."Layla reassured her. Aurora didn't know how to react, she just turned her head forward kicking little pebbles that she came across."And oh, I forgot to tell you that I would be starting a new school tomorrow. I am so happy!" She said with a big smile on her face expecting Layla's expression to be the same.

"Tho I wished you were coming to my school," Layla said poking her with her elbow  with a pout."Of course, I would be coming to your school, well I don't know yet, but I am highly sure it is your school" She said.

Layla smiled as they continued walking before they halted at a mall.

"Here we are, I hope we can find some cute boys here also, "Layla said walking into the mall as Aurora followed behind her."Babe get whatever you want. It's on me"Layla told her as she walked into the boy's clothing department[Yall know what she is finding there}.

Aurora was confused about where to go when a pink adorable teddy caught her eye, she was about to pick it up when a cute baby stared at her, Aurora smiled at the infant as she handed it the toy, She deserves it better.

Aurora picked up some ice blocks, a pair of socks, and cereal before she headed to the payment counter. She met Layla there talking to some company of boys, Aurora thought they felt quite uncomfortable with how she was twirling her hair and fluttering her lashes uncontrollably.

"I am done!"Aurora alerted while placing her items on the counter."Oh, babe, is the only thing you got, you should have gotten more."Layla said to her directing her attention to me while the boys used the chance to escape."No thank you but I am good with this stuff I got" Aurora said with a small grin."If you say so"Layla said while joining her goods with hers, Oh good gracious they were much. Some items of Layla's included;

Gucci 

Perfumes

Heels

Makeups

Wigs

And even a fake Cardi B nail.

And many more unneeded things.

Aurora gulped hard at the site of those things.

When they were done they headed back to their home."I hope you had a great day Aurora" Layla said hugging her."I sure did, thanks."Aurora answered."Bye!"They chorused together as they went different ways.

Aurora opened the door to see her brother laying on the couch groaning in pain from his headache."Aiden are you okay?"She asked sitting beside him."Yeah, I would be good, You had fun today?"He asked trying to form a smile."Yeah I did and I got you some ice for your head" Aurora said inserting her hand into the nylon to bring out the ice bag."Thank you so much, how did you get those stuff tho" He asked applying it on his head.

"Welcome, And I am really sorry for the way I behave this morning, I overreacted "Aurora apologized and also ignored the question as she went upstairs not waiting for him to reply back. She Prayed and closed her eyes hoping for another great dream again, she slept early today mainly because of her school tomorrow[She dreamt of the cookies she didn't eat teasing her]
