Cold but warm

Coincidence.

Aurora went home directly after what happened at Layla's house. She unlocked the door of her house to find thinking she was going to come face to face with Aiden again but was surprised when he was not at home. She sighed in relief as she headed to the kitchen where she saw a note posted on the fridge, she reads it as it says;

Aurora I am off to my friend's place, if you are hungry there is food inside the fridge.

He didn't even apologize. Aurora thought."Aiden isn't like this, something got into him for him to be acting like this"She felt.

It was 8:41 am, and Aurora did her chores in the house and then bathed. She decided that she is going to be positive and lively today just to get herself back, she felt she wasn't concentrating on herself since she got this new town.

She walked out the door and down the street, she was going to go for a walk to explore the town, she firstly went to the park to see the kids playing with their mum, she remembered when she usually plays with her mum when she was five, she had always kept the memories she had with her mum, she smiled as tears poured down her eyes, she came back to existence as she cleaned her face reminding her self that today is being positive only, she walked out from the park as she went to the riverside as she sat on the bench watching the river, it always calms her down, she closed her eyes and before she knew it she fell asleep.

when she woke up it was 10:19 am, she looked around feeling the brisk breeze on her face. She got red from embarrassment when she realized that the people that passed by saw her sleeping. She brushed the thought off and decided to go home, as she was walking she came across the boy she sat with in class, Usually she is an introvert but at this point, she felt the courage to call  out to the boy."Xavier!"She yelled. Xavier turned his head in her direction as he smiled at her. He has a very gorgeous smile. She thought.

"Hey Aurora," He said approaching her."Hii" Aurora responded. Xavier stood there 6'3 towering over her with brown hair and was very thin ."What are you doing here?"He asked with the most  genuine smile she haven't seen for a while now."I just decided to take a trek here" She answered. "Would you like to come over to my house, I would like to play some video games with you"He asked nervously. Aurora knew she sucks at playing video games but she had to answer seeing his enthusiastic eyes."Of course" She answered. Xavier was overjoyed when she agreed.

As they were walking to his house, he was in suspense mainly because he didn't want to do something wrong because he is very clumsy. When they arrived at his house he being a gentleman opened the door for her, she gave him a grateful smile as she walked in. He lead her to the living room where she saw Damien and they locked eyes together,[ you know that dun dun dunnn song, yea that was what played in her head]."What!"She clamored. Xavier on the other hand knew why, he was the brother of Damien."What is she doing here?"He asked rotating his head to the tv screen."Don't tell me she is your girlfriend now."He added. Xavier turned red as a tomato before he dragged Aurora upstairs to his room and locked the door."I am so sorry for what happened."He apologized."It's okay but I really suck at video games, would you still like to play with me?"Aurora asked."Of course."

They persisted all day playing video games until it was 8 pm in the night."Oh no, I got to go home" Aurora said looking at the small square clock in his room."Oh I really want you to stay but you are right" Xavier admitted."Would you come to school on Monday tho?"Xavier asked."Yes, I would. And besides, can I get all the books I missed through the 3 days I was absent from school" Aurora asked."Sure, I can't give you biology coz I am not an art student."He said searching  his bag for the books."Yeah, I understand, Thank you."She said as he handed her the books."I can tell my brother to drop you off" Xavier requested."No that would be a nightmare!"She replied."Yeah totally understandable" He responded as they both laughed.

................After Aurora saw the night darkness she was terrified and later accepted to be guided home by Damien in his car, Damien won't let Xavier go with them....................
