She was in a happy mood and she decided that no one was going to change that.
She hurried off to school wanting to be early not caring waiting for Layla, she wasn't going to let her be unhappy anymore.
When she arrived at school she placed a bright smile on her face before walking in." Good morning" She would say to all the teachers she came across." looks like someone is in a cheerful mood today."She heard someone say behind her, and turning her head she saw Xavier with a bright smile again."Oh yes!" she answered before flashing an ear-to-ear grin at him. Then it came to her intellect that she forgot to copy the note he had given her all because of the things that happened."I am so sorry I didn't copy the note you gave to me."She conceded."It's okay, I understand that there wasn't enough time. Aurora felt grateful for him to understand and thanked him before walking to class.
Aurora felt goosebumps when Layla entered the classroom with the other girls, she was so nervous that when they made eye contact she broke it within a millisecond. She fronted the book that she was copying while trying to get her breathing steady. Why am I even nervous? She asked herself.
She continued the day with ease until it was recess time when the teacher told all the students to go for sports.
"Isn't recess supposed to be for lunch or your free time."She asked Xavier handing him the notes she had finished copying."On Mondays, recess is used for sport."He replied."Arhgg I suck at sports."Aurora sign.
When they arrived at the area, Aurora was given the clothes to wear, she went to the girl's closet to change when she met Layla."Girl, we still have a lot of things to talk about."Layla told her."Layla, would you please excuse me, I am busy at the moment."Aurora told her. Layla looked shocked at her response but moved anyways.
She returned to the sports centre as a small fat girl told her to practice basketball. Aurora always wanted to try basketball out so she agreed. She took the ball and proceeded to throw it to the net but missed, she tried two more times but failed miserably, On her third try she also missed as she heard some boys chuckling from a corner. She turned her head in its direction and saw no one but Damien and his group which includes Jayden. They walked up to her as they all touched the net one after the other."I bet you can't do that."Charles the blonde guy said."Sorry, I don't bet, would you excuse me now."She answered. They giggled at her reply before Damien spoke."Try doing dodgeball, it would sit you better so that you can lose some calories. He said."Calories that you all need cause you look like skeletons."She responded getting standing on her toes to point her finger at his chest." Damien looked at the small figure in front of him before he advised."Basketball is for tall people like us, and saying you are tall enough to reach the net would be a big understatement."He advised, turning his figure to leave. Well, perhaps he is right. She thought."But I ain't doing Dodge ball."She told herself.
