Aurora decided with her brother that she won't go to school for the next 3 days, she stayed at her house while her brother went to uni and waited until he came back so that they could watch a movie together. She wanted to go over to Layla's house but her brother was living under the same roof as hers and besides Aurora felt she didn't need to go over to her place since she didn't either.

"I am home!"Aiden announced from downstairs making Aurora jump out of her thinking and run straight downstairs to her brother."Are we going to watch Never Had I Ever now?"She asked with a cheerful smile on her face."I have to go bath first, I would be back soon, okay?"Aiden asked.

"Oh sure," she replied, watching him go upstairs she decided to make popcorn for the movie, inspired by the term 'Netflix'n chill'.

While Aiden was taking his bath Aurora was making popcorn when there was a knock on the door suddenly. Aurora assumed it was Layla so she opened the door but to her surprise, it was Layla's mum's."Hii, Mrs. Jone, how can I help you?"Aurora asked."By coming to my daughter's sleepover."Mrs. Jones replied tucking her hair behind her ear.

"Oh, I will surely come."Aurora assured her."Can I meet your parents?"Mrs. Jones asked. Aurora didn't know what to say but as she was about to say something Aiden interrupted her.

"They are both at work."He answered."Oh, they must be hardworking to be working this late."She stated while Aiden smiled."Well Aurora dear please come, Layla is expecting you."Mrs. Jones said before leaving for her house. When she was out of their sight Aurora pushed Aiden inside and confronted him.

"Why did you have to lie to her?"She asked angrily."Aurora she doesn't need to know that mum is dead and dad is something else you know."Aiden said sanding his forehead out of frustration."But it is better than lying, them knowing the truth is better, I am gonna tell them, she is my friend."Aurora said.

"They aren't your friends Aurora, I am pretty sure they are just making a fool out of you, you had and never have made real friends," Aiden said leaving Aurora frozen in the spot.

"Oh well then, that is what you think of me. I am leaving now to Layla's, there is popcorn in the pan, enjoy your movie."Aurora said trying hard to hold back the tears in her eyes."I am sor-"

Aurora gathered the stuff she was going to use to sleep, she didn't include her toothbrush and sponge cause she could always come back home to do all of that stuff.

When she arrived at Layla's house she walked in and was welcomed with the smell of popcorn, muffins, and vanilla, she sniffed the air into her lungs as she signed, it felt like life in Layla's house for her."Oh you are here I am so happy" She heard Layla say from up the stairs.

"Are you feeling good now?"Layla asked with a worried expression on her face."I am good now, thanks."Aurora replied ."Okay, so are you ready to be comfy!"Layla exclaimed.

Layla lead Aurora to her room where she saw the other girls she saw at school on Monday."Hey girl, so glad you are feeling good already, we were so worried when we heard the news."Jamie stated."Well, thanks. I came to the sleepover to get the books I missed at school when I was away."Aurora stated."Girl is that the only reason you came, come on you gotta chill with us first, I bought some nail polish yesterday, you got to try it out."Jessica added.

Aurora signed. She wasn't really used to all of this Girly stuff because she wasn't really socialized. She had some friends back in her homeland but she felt that they were being kind to her just because her mum dad and knew their situation with their dad and, to be honest, she didn't want them to have sympathy for her. She was doing good the way she is.

They ate, did manicures, skin care treatment, and other stuff girls do on sleepovers until they dozed off on each other.

The rays of sun landed on Aurora's eyes as she slowly opened them. She stood up with her wobbly legs and scratched her eyes, she walked over to the standing mirror next to her and giggles seeing her hair in a mess. It has been a long time since she slept so peacefully except for the snores and farts produced by her friends. Her friends were still sleeping in a pile. She walked downstairs to take a glass of water when she met Jayden, a frown automatically appeared on her face.

"Good morning."She greets as she opened the cupboard in front of him."What is so good about this morning when I see your face first thing I wake up"He replied."Why do you have to be so mean and rude?"She asked facing him. Jayden sneered as he collected the glass from her filling it with water and then drinking it. Aurora looked at him with irritation before she collects another glass but to her shock, he collected the glass again, filling it with water and drinks."Why are you doing that?" She yelled."Shh, this isn't your house."Jayden replied leaning to whisper in her ear."You heard tho..se"She stuttered."Yup!, every single one of it."He said with a smirk plastered on his lips.

Aurora ran upstairs and started packing her bags which she brought with her."Where are you going to?"Chenile who was already awake and was checking out her body in the mirror by that time asked."I am going Home." She answered."But why?"Chenile asked.

"It sleep over."
