"Damien I can't go to your house, I have my doubts about the fact that you do not possess one," Aurora told Damien as she stood up.
"And why that?" Damien asked her, his eyebrow-raising up.
"Because I have to go home." She answered, She took a seat in the chair and proceeded to speak again, "They must be worried about me." She added.
"Oh, I completely forgot that you have a family," Damien recalled.
"I can drop you home." Xavier alerted her.
"You can't drive, I can drop you ins-"Damien spoke but was interrupted by Aurora's voice.
"I will walk home," she told him, Damien's request was not accepted right away.
Aurora stood up, ready to leave, when she was suddenly gripped.
"Why can't I drop you home?" Damien asked with a curious tone.
"I just don't want you to drop me, and when you want to call me just say my name, don't touch." She warned him, Aurora didn't want him to drop her off because of Layla, she didn't want to cause so much trouble between them.
"Why do you even care? be the jerk you always are," Aurora told him, she could see that he was a little hurt by her words but she had to do or say anything to avoid him dropping her.
"Bye Xavier and thank you all." She greeted before walking out the door down the busy streets.
She felt uneasy as people's attention was drawn to her neck, wrapped in bandages.
When she arrived home, she knocked on the gently, it was immediately opened by her dad.
"Dad?!"She exclaimed looking very confused, she wasn't expecting him to be home." Oh look, the slut is back" Her dad spoke leaning on the edge of the door. There was a sudden ruffle as if someone was hurriedly getting off something, suddenly Aurora's body was being smashed with a figure, her brother.
"Where have you been we were so worried?" He asked after breaking the hug. His eyes spotted the injury on her neck and his face went white, losing its colour.
He covered his mouth with his palms, tears filling his eyes.
"Where did you get that from?" He asked his face getting paler every second, with tears streaming down his cheeks. "Hey chill, stop overreacting, it's just a stab, nothing too bad, it's treated now," Aurora told him patting him on the shoulders. She made eye contact with her dad's her dad who was looking at her with disgust. She looked down walking into the house.
Aiden didn't seem convinced that it was a little stab, he knew it was bigger than the way she explained it.
And he knew it was all his fault.
Addie.
