Cold but warm

Damien pov

I ended the call immediately and rushed over to her weak body, Xavier made her sit on the couch, and I sat down next to her as Xavier brought the first aid kit.

"Are you okay?" I asked her, she looked at me trying not to cry as she spoke "I got attacked"She told me looking down at her blood-stained jeans."What were you doing in that kind of area?"I asked her when she looked at me with a confused look.

"You know the place?"She asked looking at me for an answer."Yes, it is at the back of my house why wouldn't I know."I replied.

"Here," Xavier says placing the kit on the table. I took the bandage out of it and as I was bandaging her neck I could see her cheeks turn red to my touch. It was so enjoyable to see her redden.

After I was done I told her to get some rest and that was definitely not in Xavier's room as I could see him about to carry her to his."She is sleeping in my room."I told him, his expression changed from excited to angry. I am pretty sure he would be dead by now if he tried to argue. 

I took her to my room upstairs and as she saw the bed she jumped on it she started SNIFFING it!!

"What do you think you are doing?"I asked her raising an eyebrow, she is a weirdo but to be honest I really like having her around me.

"I am sorry I realize that I like your perfume and seeing a big layer of cloth that you laid on makes me wanna smell it."She apologized looking down at her hands which were holding each other. Well, what could I do? It was my fault she got stabbed in the first place.

"What were you doing there?"I asked her sitting on the bed beside her."I was led there accidentally by a little girl and I thought that place was the perfect place to sleep."She replied.

Was she so dumb to sleep in a dangerous-looking place? As I was about to tell her that Xavier barge into my room for the first time without knocking.

"Aurora I made you soup to ease the headache," Xavier said stretching his hand to hand the soup to Aurora but it was knocked off by me.

"Did she tell you she's having a headache, and why the hell did you barge into my room like that?" I asked.

"I just did a favour for her."Xavier replied, then continued, "But now you spilled it."Which I don't regret doing."I told him, "Now get out of my room before I do something stupid."I warned him.

"Everything you do is stupid,"  Xavier told me before leaving my room and sending Aurora a wink.

Disgusting.

"Am I sleeping on your bed, or I have a place to sleep already?"She said probably subconsciously rubbing the bed surface with her palm.

"W are sleeping on the bed, "I informed her.

"We?"She murmured, a blush creeping up her cheeks. I smirk at her as I asked"Do you want that?"

"noo," She says as she covered her face in shame.

"I am sleeping in the remnant room, "I say to her.

"Why can't I sleep there."She asked looking at my eyes with her brown ones which made me feel a funny thing in my tummy do a cartwheel, the feeling was so strange and stupid but actually felt good.

"The mattress isn't comfy and there are mosquitoes," I replied to her, grabbing a pillow I went out of the room.

"So he does care about me."I could hear her say from the door.
