Chapter 7 ~ Journey of Fate

The morning after Roses little incident was crazy. She had Neville and her Gran in the living room and once they saw her come down the steps, they bombarded her. Since she had her leg healed by the Healer, she could walk around herself and needed no help, but George insisted on helping her get home.

Be careful, Rose, because we leave for Egypt soon, and I dont want to tear through Egypt and London if you get hurt, George said before he left back for the Burrow.

I will, Rose replied.

After George left, Rose went up to her room and just thought about what had happened throughout the previous day. She was contemplating if she should just end things with Oliver, because of how toxic he was in the relationship, but she wanted to give him a few more months to redeem himself, but if he didnt, it was over.

After the incident, Roses Gran and Neville were definitely over Oliver and his games. Neville especially made it clear how he felt on the issue and even got Seamus and Dean to go along with it. It made Rose happy that her brother and his friends cared so much about her. She also got letters from Hermoine and Harry about how mad they were with Oliver. Harry surprised her the most though, but I guess she shouldnt be shocked, hes like her other brother.

It had now been weeks since the date and George was over at the flower field with Rose, along with Neville and Fred, making sure that she would stay safe while they were away in Egypt, since they would be leaving the next morning.

Alright, me and Fred made these two devices that will inform us if either of you get hurt. I want either of you to push that button if anything bad happens to either of you, do you understand? George said in all seriousness.

We do, the pair said in unison.

Good, because if you dont use it and George finds out, I feel sorry for the both of you, Fred said with a playful smirk. Also, your Gran had ties with Mum and Dad, so well find out from them if you dont let us know first.

I fear what you two will do to us if we dont use it, so dont worry about me not using it, Rose said looking between the twins.

Yeah, dont worry, we will definitely be using them to let you know. I figure that Rose will somehow get injured and be calling for you, George. She does it all the time, Neville said.

Rose gave him a glare that could wilt a rose and said, Nev, if you want me to keep who you like a secret, Id stop now.

Neville was speechless, but still confident as he said, Whatever you say, but its hard to hide the obvious.

Alright, well I think we should head back to the Burrow before Mum kills us, isnt that right George, Fred said directing his attention to his twin.

Probably, but you head there first, Ill be right there, George said.

Fred gave him a suggesting look and said, Alright, see you at the house.

Ill head to our house, Rose, so you two can have a private moment, Neville said in a whisper.

Thank you, Nev. Tell Gran Ill be right there, Rose said in an equal volume.

Once Neville and Fred had left the two, they embraced each other and rocked back and forth. Rose was the first to break the comfortable silence by saying, Im going to miss you, Georgie. I dont think Ill make it.

George laughed and said, I think youll make it, and besides, Ill only be gone for a week. But Ill still miss you and our little hangouts.

Rose smiled and soaked in Georges presence for as long as she could before they pulled apart. Rose looked him in his gorgeous eyes and said, Be careful, George Fabian Weasley or Ill hurt you more myself.
