Chapter 11 ~ Classes & Hogsmeade

Once Rose had awakened, by Angelina at an ungodly hour, she had gotten her teeth brushed and dressed for the day. Rose was excited to find out her classes and she hoped that she had classes with the twins. She knew they wouldnt be in the same transfiguration or potions class with her because she was a year ahead of everyone else in her year.

Once Rose had finished getting ready, she headed down the steps and was met with Angelina giving her the look. Finally you get ready. Its like you take years just to get ready.

Hey! Thats not true. I just wanted to be a bit presentable, you know, Rose said with a grin.

Angelina laughed and said, Yeah, for your boy toys.

Rose gasped and said, Angelina! That is definitely not true.

Whatever you say, now lets head down for breakfast. I am starving and am about ready to leave without you.

Well, lets go then, yeah? Plus, you wouldnt leave me, its our tradition to walk to breakfast with each other on the first day, well actually everyday.

Exactly, Angelina said, Now, hurry up.

Fine, lets go, Rose said, looping her arm through her friends to head down to the Great Hall.

Once the two girls reached the Great Hall, they went to sit with their other friends in their normal spots. Rose, sitting beside Oliver and George on her other side and then Rose spoke saying, Morning guys.

Morning, Rose, Oliver said, taking her hand in his.

Rose just smiled, but didnt feel the spark she used to when he took her hand in his. But she broke out of thought when George spoke and said, Good morning, Rosie.

Rose smiled at that and then noticed the glint in her best friend's eyes that she couldve sworn was jealousy. But, she just shrugged it off and went about eating her favourite breakfast food, toast and marmalade.

Soon, Professor McGonagall was handing out timetables for the new school year. Once Rose received hers, she saw that she had Divination, Herbology, and Transfiguration on Monday, Wednesday, and some Fridays. While on Tuesday, Thursday, and some Fridays she had Defense Against the Dark Arts, Potions, and Care for Magical Creatures, which was being taught by Hagrid this year. To say Rose was excited was an understatement.

I got double potions today, Angelina whined, But Rose only has it once later today because she had to take fifth year potions last year along with Transfigurations and Herbology. What a nerd.

Hey! I just wanted to finish them up this year so I have an easier last year at Hogwarts. At least I still have Defense with you on the scheduled days. I have every class possible with the twins, except Divination, Im on my own for that, Rose said to her friend. Whats your schedule like, Ollie? I bet its pretty easy since you plan to go to professional league quidditch after school.

Oh, yeah I have pretty simple classes, well as simple as they can be. My main goal is to focus on quidditch so if a scout comes to watch, then Ill be ready. It seems me and Alicia have all of our classes together too, so you dont have to worry about me being alone, because I know how your anxiety is, Oliver said in a caring tone, one Rose hadnt heard in a long time.

Rose just smiled as he took her hand in his and gave it a squeeze. She was really starting to believe maybe he was trying to improve for her and he did love her. That would be her worry for later though, because she wanted to soak in every moment of this that she could.

Looks like we should head to our first classes, looks like me, George, and Rose have Defense first so well be going. See you guys later, Fred said, waving to their friends, dragging George and Rose with him.
