Rose could barely sleep and when the morning light shone through her window, she was up and grabbing her things. Since Rose was already mainly packed, she brought her trunk downstairs and ready to be transported to the Leaky Cauldron. She looked at the time and realised that she still had an hour before they would leave at 8 in the morning.

Rose went to the kitchen to get herself some breakfast before heading out, because it was only her going to stay at the Leaky Cauldron. Sure, her Gran was taking her, but shed be with all of her favourite people that she hadnt seen all summer. Once she reached the kitchen cabinet, she got out some bread to make toast and some pumpkin juice to drink with it.

After she had finished her breakfast, she heard someone coming down the stairs. Rose figured it was her Gran to see her off, but it was Neville. Hey, what are you doing?

I just wanted to see you off before you head out and I also wanted to tell you to be careful. Dont do anything stupid, yeah? Neville went on.

You got it and I bet you mean not to do anything with George. Dont worry, we arent even together yet.

Still, but Gran said that she was heading downstairs in a few minutes to see you off. Youre probably going to go early arent you, because I bet you havent slept either, Neville said.

Yeah, I was too excited. I hope that George isnt too clingy, because of the accident. He made a comment about staying with me for like the whole time. I mean I wont complain, Rose said with a very evident smile.

Youre in love with him, Rose. Dont deny, but youre going to admit it to yourself one day. Im telling you that youre going to leave Oliver sooner than you think, but I think Grans coming so have fun,

After Neville said this, he took some toast and went to the dining room as their Gran entered the kitchen to talk to Rose. Rosette, I need you to promise me that you will stay safe and stay near George or Fred. I want you to find me and Neville on Platform 9 ¾ before the train leaves.

Yes maam, Rose said. Ill be safe and Ill find you guys. I dont plan to leave Georges side anyways, even though it wont be my choice. Also, have you heard anything from the Woods?

Yes, they said that Oliver was busy with quidditch training. I think its an excuse, but that is not my place to assume. He does know youre home now and said he was glad you were ok, but I know you want to leave and see your friends. Its almost time anyways and you might want to check in soon. Do you want me to come with you? her Gran asked.

You dont have to if you dont want to. I understand if you have other things to do today, Rose said, while going into the living room and getting her things together.

Ill go with you to get you settled and then Ill head back here. Neville, do you want to stay here and wait or go with us?

I think Ill just stay here, Gran. Have fun Rose, he said.

Ok. Rose, are you ready? her Gran asked.

Yep, lets go, Rose said, heading to the Floo Network. The Leaky Cauldron! she yelled while throwing the floo powder down.

Soon after she arrived, her Gran was right behind her. Once they were side by side, they headed to the counter to get Roses room key and check in. Hello, Im here to get the room key for Rose Longbottom.

Ok, heres the paperwork to sign and shes all set. Now, if you would like, I can get someone to take your things up to your room, the desk worker said.

Oh, its ok. I can get it, I put a charm on it to make it lighter, Rose said to her.

Ok, but if you change your mind, you can always ask, she said to Rose.

Heres the papers, maam. Thank you for the key. Come on Rose, lets get you settled, her Gran said.
