Santana: do you think we would still be able to go to the police and press charges? *feared that she wouldn't be taken seriously coz of how many years have passed since Derek actually came into physical contact with her*

*Brittany did suggest that san talk to the police sooner. Because she also wasn't sure if it would work out in their favour if it was left too long. Then again, Brittany knew that she was gonna have to let Santana heal from everything before trying to talk about it with a stranger. So they did just that*

Brittany: its worth a shot! *smiles sweetly at the brunette* are you sure your ready for that? ...Im not gonna force you into anything if you aren't comfortable to do it!

Santana: i know! I really appreciate you being so patient with me. *smiles up at Britt* ...i just wanna get him locked up so he cant keep coming out of nowhere, trying to get to me.

Brittany: me too baby! You don't deserve to be living in fear every time you leave the house. *smiles sympathetically as her and Santana stare into each others eyes for a moment* ill do whatever it takes to keep you safe and happy. *leans in and gives san a loving kiss*

Santana: *pulls away from the kiss and looks at the time on her phone* is now a good time to go? *looks up at Brittany*

Brittany: *saw that it was about lunch time* how about we get some food then we can head out after that. *looks down to see what san thinks*

Santana: *nods her head* alright! Im gonna go to the bathroom then ill be back to help you make whatever. *gets up and disappears into the downstairs bathroom while Brittany heads into the kitchen to see what she can find for lunch*

*back at sam's place! Sierra and Layla started having proper girl talk about Layla liking a boy in her class, sierra of course was having fun tease her about it because she also got a reaction out of sam. Being protective of his little girl just like any dad would do with their daughter*

Sam: *looks down at the time on his phone and thought that this was the perfect time to excuse himself from the situation* ANYWAY.... *dragged out the word to show his discomfort* who's hungry? *stood up and looks over and sierra and Layla with a sweet smile on his face while the girls continue to giggle away at him for being so easy to wind up*

Layla: sure! *smiles at her dad*

Sierra: i could eat! *also smiles up at sam*

*after lunch! Sierra had to rush off sooner than planned because she got a call from her bestie freaking out about something. Of course sierra couldn't say what it was exactly but she was very apologetic to sam and Layla, giving them big hugs and promising them a lunch date in the near future. They of course accepted it because they loved having sierra around and they couldn't wait to see her the next chance they could get*

*Santana and Brittany on the other hand were just getting finished with eating their food and Brittany decided that now would be the time that she calls Layla to check on her. Santana had been anxiously waiting for Layla to tell her about her meeting with sierra but she didn't wanna pressure at all*

*on the phone with Layla! Brittany had it on loudspeaker so san could talk to her as well*

Layla: hey mum! *was all cheery from having an unexpectedly good first meet with sierra*

Brittany: *couldn't help smiling after hearing Layla's voice* hey baby! Just wanted to call and check in with you.

Layla: *lightly chuckles at her mum being so quick to call* I'm doing really good! Me and sierra were chatting non stop and laughing like we've known each other since forever.

Brittany: *felt a bit of jealously hearing that sierra has won Layla over so quickly. But she just swallows her pride and doesn't dare to kill Layla's vibe* thats so good to hear princess! What are you up to now? *puts on a brave face that Santana of course can see right through. The brunette just reaches out and hold Brittany's hand giving her a smile of reassurance.*

*after a bit of back and forth with Layla, Brittany lets san take over and have a chat with Layla, winding her up as usual. Brittany decided to clear the dished off the dinning table and give herself some alone time to get herself together*

*after a few minutes Brittany was just pressing play on the dishwasher when she felt Santana wrap her arms round the blondes waist, giving her a few neck kisses to hopefully relax her*

Santana: *smiles as she feels Brittany relax into here embrace* how's my sexy MIFL feeling? *smirks at her new nickname for Brittany*

Brittany: *chuckles at the nickname* always better when you are with me! *turns her head a little to see Santana smiling at her*

Santana: *gives Brittany another kiss on the cheek then rests her head in the crook of Britt's neck as they continue to stand there, holding each other* i love you so much!

Brittany: *smiles* i love you more baby girl! *turns round so she is now facing san*

Santana: *drapes her arms over Brittany's shoulders as the blonde wraps her arms round san's waist* since we plan on leaving the house at some point today, would you like to join me in a warm bubble bath? *smiles sweetly as she bats her eyes at Brittany. Insinuating, you know what*

Brittany: *smiles at san* if i ever say no to that then i give you my full permission to slap some sense back into my brain. *laughs as does san*

Santana: *reaches her left hand up to cup Britt's face* i could never mark your beautiful face like that! *smiles sweetly as Brittany leans in for a passionate kiss*
