18 MONTHS LATER
After a crazy year and a half, and a lot of wedding planning, the date had arrived. Everyone was already up and getting ready. "Lils, Max is going to fall in love with you even more. Don't freak out." Paddy's girlfriend, Annabelle, reassures Lilianna. "Okay. Deep breathes and relax. Someone get me a glass of lemonade." Lilianna laughs as does the other girls. "Already drinking." Shauna Lenihan, Darragh Lenihan's, who's a teammate of Paddy, wife laughs.
"Lily, sweetheart. I believe you have something to tell them." Claire smiles. Annabella, Shauna and Lex, Ryan's girlfriend, looks at Lilianna confused. "Mum! Me and Max were keeping it a secret." Lilianna mutters to her mother. "Keeping what a secret Lily? Come on, you can't let your mother mention it and then not say." Annabelle says. "Thanks mother. I didn't need this on my wedding day." Lilianna looks at her mum. "Promise me you girls won't tell anyone." Lilianna turns to Annabella, Shauna and Lex who all nod. "Okay. So, you all were going to find out during the ceremony but me and Max are expecting another baby." Lilianna smiles, placing her hands on her stomach.
"What!?" Lex exclaims. "No way! You're messing with us." Shauna says as the three girls hug Lilianna. "Thank you girls. You can just see the bump but can't really tell." Lilianna smiles as she highlights her little baby bump with her hands. "Oh my god, it's so small." Lex smiles. "So, you're telling everyone today?" Annabelle smiles as Lilianna nods.
"Mum! Mum!" Isla runs out of her ajoining bedroom. "Good morning my gorgeous girl." Lilianna smiles, crouching down to Isla. "You're marrying daddy today." Isla giggles excitedly. "I am indeed, sweetheart. Are you excited?" Lilianna asks, brushing some of Isla's hair out of her face. "Yeah. I get to be flower girl and your maid of honor." Isla smiles. "I know. You're a very lucky little girl." Lilianna smiles as Isla nods. "Can I have a plastic cup of lemonade?" Isla asks. "Of course you can, Isla." Lilianna smiles walking over and getting a plastic cup, similiar to her glass one and pouring some lemonade in. It was Isla's way of joining in with having a fizzy drink. "Okay. To our gorgeous Lilianna on her wedding day." Shauna says as they all raise their glasses.
The makeup and hair artisit soon arrive and they begin doing everyone's hair and makeup. Lilianna and Isla being the last two so they could get their hair and makeup done together. Once Lilianna had hers done, and she was in her dress, the other girls, her mum and Isla all looked at her. "Sweetheart, you're so gorgeous." Claire smiles, looking at her daughter with tears in her eyes. "Mum don't. You'll make me cry." Lilianna laughs. "Dad's jaw will drop, mum. You're so pretty." Isla smiles. "Thank you my girl." Lilianna smiles. "Well, atleast you can't tell your pregnant." Lex jokes as they all nod.
THE CEREMONY
"You ready sweetheart?" Alan asks as Lilianna nods. She had her dad one side of her and her brother to the other. "My sister getting married before me. I can't believe it." Paddy laughs. "I'm as ready as I'll ever be. No turning back now." Lilianna smiles at her dad before nudging her brother for his comment. The three walk down the isle and Max turns around to face Lilianna, a wide smile on their faces as they lock eyes. "I love you." Lilianna mouths the Max as he smiles and tears for in his eyes.
Alan passes Lilianna's hand to Max before her father places a soft kiss on her cheek and Paddy follows suit. "Look after her and the kids, bro." Paddy whispers to Max, placing a hand on his shoulder. "Don't worry, I will." Max softly smiles before turning to Lilianna. "You're stunning. You know that." Max whispers to Lilianna. "And you're just as handsome." Lily smiles as Max softly kisses her cheek.
