The next month passed by strangely. Veralee and Jacaerys had gotten very a lot more closer, they often jested and did not mind being very close to each other. Hugging was now a normal thing for them at this point. Sometimes Jace would wake to find them both tangled in each others arms. It was weird but they started to feel comfort around each other. Their was defiantly a strong bond of trust growing between them. They enjoyed each other company, and began to love spending time together. Sometimes they would do their own tasks silently in a room together and that was good enough for them.

However Veralee's  health didn't seem to be at it's best. She often woke up with bile rising in her mouth. The first time it happened Jace was absolutely shocked to find the bed empty when he woke up and than gagging from the bathroom. Veralee always brushed it off as the food here, how it was different to Essos and it was getting harder for her body to adjust. Jace didn't believe her at all but decided to just go with it since nothing to sever was happening.

"I seriously think you need a maester you barely eat now and whatever you do you throw up" Jace once again insisted. Veralee started back at him through the mirror where she was putting on her earring.

"I am fine Jace" She shrugged off.

"No you ar-" Jace began but was cut of by Veralee grabbing his arm and dragging him out the room

"We are going to be late for the council meeting" She changed subject, which caused him to sigh.

At the council meetings Rhaenyra does her best to try and crush down topics of their intimate life and whether Veralee is with child or not. Rhaenyra tried to keep as much of it focused on real work as possible.

"I can do it, Me and my wife" Jacaerys volunteered. Veralee's head shot up at him at the mention of her.

"Is the prince truly the best option" Questioned a lord.

"I have spent 6 years at Dragon stone. besides In this I can take my wife to Dragon stone for the first time and we make a few public events to celebrate our union and cover up the real reason for being there." Jace elaborated. " this would also help the princess get to know the kingdom better seeing as she has not been exposed to anything like this in the past"

"That is not a bad idea" Lord Lannister agreed.

"Veralee what do you think about this" Rhaenyra asked. The whole council turned there attention to her, waiting for her opinion for the first time.

"I think it is a brilliant idea, and sending the Prince would be the smartest choice as he would know his way around dragon stone very well, which could possibly help finish the task quicker. The only issue is we need a reasonable time period. If it is for something like a celebration I would say no longer than 2 weeks. Staying longer would draw attention from the rebels." Veralee expressed her thoughts, while nervously twisting the ring - Jace gave her- on her finger.

"She does have a point what if cover it up as an event for leisure and work, say the Prince and Princess were there to help make it safer for locals with wild dragons roaming around." lord Caswell suggested.

"yes, that sound far better that would give Jace at least a month" the queen nodded her head in agreement." very well we shall make arrangements for the prince and the princess to depart tomorrow morning"

Veralee was completely thrown off by what just happened. It all happened far to quick for her to realise. After the meeting was closed Veralee went straight to her ladies to tell them of recent plan changes and decided it would be best to say good bye now rather than the morning. She than went for her session with Rhaenyra. Where the discussed about what Veralee should do in Dragon Stone. Before she even realised it was night and she was packing her bags for the morning.
