In the days to come Jace had escorted Vera to visit the local market and people. He and other guard that followed them for the their protecting kept their eyes peeled for and suspicious activity relating to the rebellion and Vera talked to the people. She eventually realised that the dragons were not as big as a problem compared to the lack of guards in local areas causing thefts, this ment she had to go home and think of a new way to invest the money. Just brilliant .

Although both Jace and Vera are working it did not stop them from having a bit of fun with each-other occasionally. They managed to create a new life style, an equilibrium between fun and work. They made a new tradition to go out to the beach every sunday, and the fact they got a lot of time alone away from king's landing made Vera feel less stressed and she felt like she could be more of herself around Jacaerys.

Jace began to think this was the best idea he had, bringing them to Dragonstone, it really helped Vera get comfortable well atleast around him and their 'friendship' grew stronger. It was also nice to not have the Lords constantly bug him about putting an heir in his wife.

Jace also had made great progress in his task, he was able to finally confirm that the rebellion was in Dragonstone and it was only a matter of time till he found them and stopped their plan, his spies were planted almost everywhere.

Finally the day that has had Veralee's insindes churning had almost come. Tomorrow was her first charity event as princess, it would show that she could be a great wife to their heir and also show the people she cared for them. Vera spent hours with the septon of dragon stone seeking advice from them to help make sure everything goes perfectly. Rheanyra also had wrote letter counselling her and reassuring her things would be alright.

Vera had taken a greater attachment to Rheanyra than she thought, with her mother absent and not being able to raise her to learn to do wifely tasks, Vera was comepletely unpreapered and had no idea who to turn to. She really wished her mother was still here, all she could think about was her mom and how badly she needed her right now. Vera was on the verge of a mental crisis due to all the stress and it did not go unoticed by Jacaerys.

Over the months they have spent together and more the grew closer, Jace had began to understand Vera very well, somtimes even better then she understood herself. He knew Vera's weakness, fears and what hurt her the most. He specifically noticed the her mothers death contributed to a lot of her her challenges and was one of the things that had hurt her the most. Even with all the things he had going on he would always try and put Vera as one of his priorities and try to ease her in subtle ways. He was in love with her, there was no more denying it in his mind. He loved the way her face turned red when she laughed to hard, the way she was always up for anything new even if it scared her time to time, he loved her firery locks and her creative mind, the list could go on and on, but with things had to go slow, he could not risk ruining it since this marriage is for life and they were stuck together forever and he knowns Vera and how this could possibly overwhelm her, she wasn't really in the right state of mind when they were wed.

Vera sat at on the bed worridly going over the papers for the fest and tournments tomorrow, she had to make sure eveything was perfect and everything was right, there simply could not be a single mistake. Jace entered the room from the bath chamber after washing his face he was ready to crash into bed for the rest of the night, a frown curved onto his face as he saw Vera going over everything for the 3rd time since he enetered the room.

"Vera," he called trying to get her attention, she let out a faint "hmm' of acknowledgement before not really resigsetring what he was saying. "Vera!" he attmepted again, when he was met with silence he decided that would be enough and childishly snattched the papers out of her hand.
