"Jace the maester said I was perfectly fine days ago, please let me go see the ocean now" Veralee pleaded her husband as she followed his though the castle.

"Vera I am just being cautious, a few more day wouldn't hurt" He argued " besides I have duties I need to attend" And with that Jace began to take wider and faster steps in order to make it harder for her to keep up, and hoped this would make her drop the subject.

"Jace please" She begged. Vera was now picking up her skirt and jogging after him. Jace stopped knowing this wasn't going to get them anywhere. He let out a sigh of frustration before turning to his wife.

"Vera, it is for your safety, ocean's are deep and dange-" He started to try and reason with her.

"I know how to swim" Vera panted as she tried to catch her breathe. She let go of her skirt and began to brush out the wrinkles.

" That does not matter, the ocean currents are strong, It does not matter how great at swimming you are if you get caught you will drown, and as someone who has never been exposed to an ocean before you have no idea how to be careful, so my answer stand"  Jace explained. His eyebrows  shot up at the end of his sentence to try and exaggerate his sentence more.

"Well....." Vera started but was unsure how to finish. He did make a damn good argument that was reasonable, Vera knew she couldn't go against it. Frozen for a moment she tucked her stray hairs behind her ears as tried to think of something on the spot. Seeing as how Vera was speechless, Jace knew he had won and nodded his head before continuing to walk away. By a light force he was held back. He felt look down to the warm and firm feeling on his arm to find Vera's hand wrapped around it. He looked up at her with a puzzled look.

"Well, you spend a great portion of your childhood in dragon stone, why don't you take me" Vera offered. Her eyes were wide with hope and eagerness for his answer. Jace pondered for a moment before a shadow of a smile crept onto his face.

"That is something that can be done" he smirked at her as he brought his left hand to his right arm and wrapped it around Vera's. Heat immediately crept up Vera's neck at the firm feeling. His hand gently pulled Vera's hand off and gave it a soft squeeze before letting it drop. "we will discuss this at supper but now I must be going" and with that Jace left leaving behind a wide eyed excited Vera.

Vera waited restlessly for dinner to come and it eventually after all of her waiting and attempts to keep herself busy it finally happened. She was finally sitting opposite Jace in a supper chamber. However Jace ate in silence, he knew Vera was going to bring it up and the whole discussion will take up most off their meal time and now he was just waiting for it. He watched as Vera aimlessly played with her food between bite and barely touched her wine. He could feel the light vibration of her leg shaking out of restlessness, through the table.

"Vera I know you want to talk  about it..." Jace paused for a moment to pick up his wine glass and took a sip " Let us get it over with please"

"Well, when are we going to go?" Vera let her fork fall onto her plate and brought her hands into her lap to fiddle with her fingers." I want it to be soon, I have waited for so long" she requested. Her voice sounding a lot sifter than earlier, It sounded more vulnerable and sweet. Her eyes moved from her fingers to him. Jace could see the pleasingness in her eye and could see how badly she wanted it.

"How does tomorrow sound? " He asked as he brought his fork up to his plate and collected food onto.

era's eyebrows knitted together and confusion took over her face"Tomorrow? I was ware you had to meet with a the head guard in-charge of patrolling town  tomorrow"

Jace took a moment to finish his swallow his food and wash it down with wine before speaking to her again " Yes, but it is not that important, but I rather you not get impatient and go alone and drown all because I made you wait a little longer"
