I wake up before Cassidy and smile down at the feisty girl laying in my arms. A dream I have had constantly for the past three years. There's this voice in my head saying nothing will change between us, that she'll go back to not talking to me and hating me.

I shake the thought from my head as Cassidy shifts in my arms, her lips part as the corner brushes against my bicep. She's been sleeping on my bicep for about an hour now. It was the only place she was able to get comfortable so I left her be.

I take a deep breath and look back down at her, she shifts again and flutters her eyes open. She groans as she rubs her eyes with the back of her hands while sitting up and looking around the room. She looks over at me still laying down and got a panics look in her eye.

"What time is it?" she frowns as I show her the time on my phone, "Shit! I'm late." she scrambles to get out of bed but I grab her arm and told her to calm down.

"Cassidy it's Saturday." she nods.

"I know dipshit! I have a fucking game!" I let her go as she scrambles out of the room she comes back into the bedroom with her uniform on and a panicking look in her eye. "Hey, Bailey! How much time do I have?"

I hear Bailey on the other line say she has about 20 minutes, Cassidy lets out a long sigh and slips her shoes on. "Okay, I'll be there in five." Cassidy hangs up the phone and glances at herself in the mirror before looking at me. "Umm forget last night happened. I was drunk and you probably regret it anyway." I get off the bed and walk over to her.

"I do-" she shakes her head.

"Bye Andrew." she walk away from me without even letting me finish. This is what I was afraid of. I walk out of her room as she starts her bike before driving away, I look at Brandi and frown.

"It was a mistake." Brandi frowns at me and lies on her bed.

Cassidy burst through the door with a huge smile on her face. Bailey and Danny were behind her with Chloe behind them. "You're lucky they didn't suspend you from the team for that move." Cassidy laughs as Bailey shrugs.

"The bitch deserved it. Plus better for me than you. Girl you are the star of that team!" Cassidy rolls her eyes and stumbles a bit. Danny catches her and her cheeks lit up like crazy. She's mine. I look away from them and clear my throat.

Everyone looks at me and Cassidy's face falls as she pulls away from Danny, we make eye contact quickly before she turns away and goes upstairs with the girls. Danny sits in the armchair and goes on his phone.

"Don't hurt her." I threaten, he looks over at me with a confused look.

"Why do you care? I'm not saying I would, I like her and I wouldn't dream of it but you get my point." I roll my eyes.

"Cassidy is going through a lot and I don't want to see her get hurt. If that means I beat some sense into you to get the point across I will." Danny roll his eyes.

"I don't care if you break my leg or whatever, I like Cassidy and your threats don't scare me." I wasn't threatening, it was more of a promise to beat the sense into or out of him if he hurt her, again.

"Whatever." Bailey and Chloe walk down the stairs with Cassidy behind them, she had a skin-tight thigh-length dress with a leather jacket over her shoulders. I let my eyes trail her body, the same body I had in my arms a few hours ago. The same body I felt against mine last night. My body. I take a deep breath as I stand up.

I walked over to Cassidy, "Can I talk to you for a second?" I whisper in her ear letting my lip brush the shell of her ear. Her eyes go wide and she nods.
