Love at First Fight

I wake up feeling around for Andrew but he wasn't near me. I rub my eyes and look around, "Andrew?" I call out but no response, I get off the air mattress and shuffle around the house.

I hear someone coming up behind me and I turn around getting ready to throw a punch but Andrew catches my hand. I let out a sigh of relief, "I was in the bathroom, are you okay?" I nod and pull my hand away.

"Yeah, I just didn't know where you were." he nods.

"The roads were cleared, if you want I can take you home." I nod, I forgot Andrew isn't staying with us anymore. I take a deep breath and look for my sweatpants.

Andrew packs the car and we leave within ten minutes. I stare out the window thinking about last night. I was comfortable with him, comfortable enough to let him go bare. It was the most exhilarating feeling I have ever felt. I didn't know it was possible but he always shows me things I never thought were possible.

I take a deep breath as I feel his hand on my thigh, I look down and see his hand holding my thigh and I smile as I hold his hand down on my leg, he looks over at me and smiles.

We pull into the driveway and he holds my hand in his, "When can I see you again?" I shrug my shoulders.

"That's up to you." he smiles.

"If I had my way, we would have stayed up in that cabin forever." I chuckle and bring his hand to my lips. I kiss his knuckles and see Chloe standing in the doorway. She has a huge smile on her face and I raise an eyebrow at her, she motions for me to come inside and I nod.

"I have to go, Chloe is telling me to come inside. Will you let me know when you get home?" he nods and puts his hand on my cheek.

"Always, baby." I lean forward and give him a slow kiss. He returns it with a little force making me smile. I pull away and get out of the car, I walk into the house and smile at Chloe and Mason who are sitting on the couch.

"Where's dad?" Chloe smiles and points to the kitchen, I walk in and see Dakota, Daisy, and a baby carrier. "Baby?" Daisy turns around and smiles, I smile at Dad sitting in a chair holding a baby girl.

"Cassie, meet Ashliee Hannah Clark." I walk closer and smile at the baby girl in Dad's arms.

"Well hello there pumpkin. Can I hold her?" Dad smiles and starts to hand her to me. She smiles up at me, "When did you have her?" Daisy smiles.

"This a few days ago. She woke me up with a kick to the bladder." I chuckle and look down at her again.

"You are going to be so spoiled." I coo at her and she lets out a few noises.

I hear the front door close and watch Chloe walk into the kitchen, she gives me a sad smile but immediately changes to her fake smile when Dad looks at her. Are she and Mason fighting again? I shake the thought from my head as Chloe gives Ashliee her finger with a smile.

Ashliee wraps her fingers around Chloe's finger, "She is beautiful." Daisy smiles and wraps her arms around Dakota. "Can I steal Cassidy for a minute?" I look over at Chloe and nod.

Dakota reaches his hands out and smiles, I hand his daughter back to him and walk away with Chloe. "What's wrong?" she lets out a sigh as we walk up to her room.

"Mason and I have been talking," I nod giving her a scared look, "he is still upset with me for not telling him about the baby." I frown. "I understand, but at the same time it's not like I got an abortion, I wanted to keep it. It wouldn't have been the best idea but at the same time I would have kept it."

I frown and nod, "He said he needs a while to process everything. I don't know what to do." she cries and hugs me, I rub her back and take a deep breath.

"Care Bear, there isn't anything you can really do right now. Right now he is the one who needs time, you can only give him that." she nods. "Remember that he does love you." she nods again and sighs.

"I don't want to lose him." I shake my head.

"He loves you too much to lose you over something like this. Plus you are way too stubborn to let him go." she chuckles and pulls out of the hug, "Don't let something like this ruin the three-year relationship you guys have." she nods and takes another deep breath.

"How was last night?" I smile.

"It was," I feel my cheeks heat up, "amazing. He showed me the northern light and we talked about whatever was going on between us. Then ya know." her eyes went wide.

"Cassidy? Did you?" I clear my throat. "That is so romantic, your first time in a place like that! So cute!" I chuckle and shrug my shoulders. "Excuse me? Are you not telling me something?" I rub my hands over my face and shrug.

"It may not have been the first time, but it was the first of something." she gives me a confused look and I whisper in her ear what we did and her jaw drops.

"Holy shit!" I chuckle as my cheeks burn. I feel my phone go off and I pull it out smiling down at Andrew's name popping up on the screen.

Andy: Hey baby, I am home now.

Andy: What did Chloe need you for?

Me: Dakota and Daisy had their baby, it's a baby girl named Ashlie Hannah.

I put my phone away and look up at my sister who smiles at me, "So are you guys official?" I shake my head.

"No, I don't want to be official yet. I've never really been in a relationship and with him I want to get to know him again. If that makes sense." she nods and smiles.

"I'm glad. You two are good for each other." I smile and nod as we hear a knock on the door.

Dakota opens it with a smile on his face, "Daisy and I are heading out." we nod and walk down the stairs with him. Dad is holding the baby carrier with a smile, "I will see you guys later." We nod and give Dakota a quick hug before he grabs the carrier from Dad.

Dad closes the door behind them and smiles at us, "Who wants to help me make dinner?" Chloe and I smile as we race each other to the kitchen, Dad's laugh fills the house and we both smile again as he follows us.
