I've been keeping my distance from Cassidy much to my dismay. I hated staying away from her before but now after being with her, it's even worse. She spends most of her time at Bailey's place since Danny went home the day after his accident. Her last game is tonight, the day before Halloween. Chloe planned a party tonight after the game.

Mason and I are setting up the decorations now. This is the only one of Cassidy's games that I haven't been to. Even after the fight I still went even though she never saw me.

"Dude, did you hear what I said?" I shake the thoughts from my head and look at Mason, "I need you to hand me the tape." I look at the tape on the table and sigh handing it to him.

"Are you okay?" I shrug my shoulders and help him tape up the streamers. "Have you talked to Cassidy?" I shake my head.

"No I needed time to think and cool off and she's been busy with Danny." he sigh.

"Chloe said she's barely been sleeping and she went back to barely eating. Chloe's worried about both of you. Are you going to be here tonight?" I shrug. Chloe invited me but I don't know if I should.

"I'm still thinking about it." he nods and gets down from the step ladder.

"Well if I were you I'd think faster because I doubt Chloe will be as lenient as I am." I roll my eyes and shake out my arms. "I'm not trying to get all heartfelt but you're my best friend and I don't want to see you give up on something or someone that makes you as happy as she does. I saw the way you were with her. I've never seen you smile that much in ten years. Just don't give up on her because of one fight." I sigh and nod as he walks away to finish putting up some decorations.

"You guys were amazing! Win or lose you guys had fun and that is all that matters." I hear Chloe say from the front door. I look around the corner and see Cassidy with a glare on her face.

"Yeah, but we would have one then gone to nationals if fucking Jessie didn't hit the ball out." she groans. "When are the people coming?" Cassidy makes eye contact with me and frowns. "Nevermind. I'll be up in my room with Brandi." She walks up the stairs and Chloe looks over at me and sighs.

"Hey." I give her a sad smile, "She's just cranky because they lost." I nod and watch Chloe lean against the door frame; she rubs her hands over her face.

"Are you okay?" she nods, "You look stressed out."

She chuckles and shrugs her shoulders, "That's what happens when you are planning a party with a cranky sister." I chuckle.

"If you need any help let me know and I'll help you." she nods and walks up the stairs.

I scroll through my phone and hear someone walk up behind me, I turn my head slightly and see Brandi and Cassidy standing behind me. Brandi licks my pants and gives me a happy bark. "She was pacing since she heard your voice," Cassidy says in a blank tone.

I nod and turn to pet Brandi, I look up and see Cassidy standing in a skin-tight black leather suit with a dark gray belt around her waist. "What are you supposed to be?" she looks down at her clothes and sighs.

"Black widow but Chloe got the wrong suit so I guess a spy." I nod as she turns to walk away.

"You look good." she flips me off and walks back up the stairs. I look down at Brandi who smiles at me. "I deserved that." she gave me a little bark and kept smiling at me. I walk over to the back door and watch Brandi run around.

"Did you feed her?" I glance behind me to see Cassidy standing there again. I shake my head and watch her sigh.

"I will-" She shakes her head and holds up her hand.
