It's finally here. The day I never thought I would ever see happen. I am graduating from high school and I know what I want to do with my life. I talked to Aunt Brigett and asked her if she would let me run the shelter for her after I go to vet school. I loved working with the animals while I was there so I figured I would give it a shot and help expand her pride and joy.
She agreed to keep it until I get back, I leave in a few weeks to start summer classes at Wisconsin University. I applied very last minute but luckily they let me in, Mom wants to throw a huge party but I only want family and a few close friends.
"Andrew, are you coming? We have to be there in twenty minutes!" Dad yells through the house. I grab my cap and run down the stairs.
"Yeah, I'm ready." Both he and Mom smile at me.
We walk out of the house and get in Dad's car, I stare out the window as we drive to the school I've spent the past four years of my life. The first three were terrible but the last one, the last one was sucky sometimes but it was better than the rest.
I take a deep breath as we park the car get out and hug Mom and Dad before running away to find Mason, Cassidy, and Chloe.
"I thought you weren't going to show up," Mason calls as he sees me running towards them, Chloe and Cassidy turn to look at me with smiles on their faces.
"And miss one of the biggest accomplishments of my life? Pfft, no." We all laugh and walk into the school.
"Here, let me help." Cassidy reaches her hand out for my cap and smiles at me as I bend down letting her put it on my head, "Are you going to toss your cap?" I shake my head, "Do you want it to stay on the whole time?" I nod this time and she smiles.
She pulls up her sleeve to reveal a hair tie with bobby pins on it. She puts a few of them in my hair to keep the cap on my head. I catch a glimpse of black ink on her forearm and give her a confused look.
She pulls up her sleeve a little more and smiles at me, I see the tattoo design Dakota came up with for the three of them. "We got them yesterday." Chloe pulls up her gown sleeve too and shows me her forearm.
"They look really good." we all smile and sit in our seats waiting to actually graduate.

Chloe and Cassidy were called, they walked across the stage and all I could do was stare at Cassidy. I didn't get a good look at her earlier but she looks beautiful. Her dirty blonde hair in loose curls framed her face with a smile plastered across her lips.
We make eye contact for a second and her smile grows. I smile right back at her, I love her. I will wait forever if it meant I got to be with her. She sits back in her seat as Mason and I's row is called so we stand up and walk when our names were called. I make eye contact with Cassidy again, we smile at each other before I take my seat again.
"Congratulations to the graduating class!." People through their caps and start leaving while Chloe, Cassidy, and Mason all hover around me. While we wait for the huge crowd of people to leave.
I feel a small hand slip into mine, I look down and see Cassidy holding my hand while talking to Chloe about something to do with their mom. I give her hand a small squeeze and her cheeks turn a little red.
Mason pulls me away from her though as soon as some of his buddies call my name. I frown but shake the thoughts from my head. I watch Cassidy and Chloe walk over to where Dakota, Daisy, Ashliee, and their mom is sitting.
Mason and I start talking to his buddies and laughing about some stuff that happened over the years. I feel my phone go off and I smile down at the name.
