Cassidy?" I heard on the other line, "This is Andrew's mom." I take a stuttering breath, "He umm, got into an accident. I know you guys are close again so I figured I should tell you." I feel my heart thud in my chest and tears stung my eyes.

"He is home now, he was pretty beat up but nothing too serious. I know he'll want to see you when he wakes up." I nod even though I know she can't see me.

I left the part not long after he did. I rode my bike carefully back to the house and fell asleep on the couch. "I'll be there soon." I hang up the phone and walk up to my room. I doubt he will want to see me after last night but I need to see him.

I change into a pair of yoga pants and a cropped T-shirt while throwing my winter coat on over it. Chloe lets me borrow her car so I jump in and drive back to his house.

I knock on the door and watch Andrew's mom open the door with a slight smile. "He's upstairs." I nod and take my shoes off by the door. I slowly walk upstairs and open the door slowly. I close the door behind me, and he shoots straight up and groans in pain.

He looks over at me, not saying anything. His eyes were full of sadness and pain, "I can leave. Your mom asked me to come over but umm I'll just leave." he slowly shakes his head.

"I don't want to talk about anything right now. I am in too much pain to even think, I just want you to hold me." I frown as my heart flutters at the idea of him just wanting me to hold him. "Please, Cassidy." I take a deep breath and nod as I walk closer and lie on top of the covers next to him. He leans over towards me and lays his head on my chest making me let out a stuttered breath.

I stroke his head as his breathing gets heavy. "Have you slept?" he shakes his head and tries to move closer to me but winces in pain. I frown, "You need to get some sleep. I will get you some Tylenol or something. I can let you sleep."

"Don't leave me. Please don't leave me." I sit on the edge of the bed and stare at him. "I already hate myself enough for making you scared enough to think you couldn't tell me about what was going on with you. I can't stand the thought of you leaving me now because of the state I'm in." I take a stuttering breath.

I slip under the covers with him and take a deep breath as I wrap my arms around him, he winces at my touch, I frown and go to pull away but he just moves closer. "Don't let me go." I nod and feel him lay his head on my shoulder.

"I'm not afraid of you. I'm not even afraid of what you would say. I'm afraid of what would happen if I was pregnant. Would something change between us? Would you still want to be with me if I had your baby? I am terrified of losing you again." I lean my head against his and let out a stuttered breath as he puts his hand just below my stomach.

"I can't wait to start a family with you. If that means three years or three days from now. No matter what happens I am yours just as much as you are mine. Just from now on please don't hide anything from me okay?" I nod and interlace my fingers with his on my stomach.

I watch Andrew sleep, and as weird or creepy as it sounds I enjoy it. Being able to be here with him and forget about everything going on around us. His mom came in a few minutes ago and asked me if I would stay for a few days because she had to run to her mom's and Andrew's dad is away again on business.

Andrew stirs next to me as I begin to stroke his hair again, "You're still here." he whispers.

"I wouldn't want to be anywhere else, plus you were kinda laying on me the whole time. I think my boob is asleep." I chuckle and he frowns. "I didn't mind. As weird as it sounds, I enjoyed it." he nods and holds his head in his hands.

I get out of his bed and walk over to the window, I close the blinds and turn the light off. "Is that better?" Andrew let out a small groan, letting me know that it was. "Do you want something to eat?" he shook his head.

"Where's my mom?" I frown.

"She came in here a few minutes ago, she said she needed to run to your grandmother's. She asked me to stay for a few days. I umm, I told her I would but if you don't want me to I can leave." I stand next to him in the bed and frown down at him.

"I don't want you to leave but umm I don't really have anything for you here." I shake my head.

"You don't need to worry about that. I have to go give Chloe her car back. I can just grab my stuff from the house." he frowns. "Are you going to be okay while I go get what I need?" he leans back against the headboard and frowns.

"I'll be fine." I take a deep breath and nod as I lean forward to kiss him but he pulls his head away. I frown and walk out of the house with my coat in my hands. I drive back to the house and take a deep breath.

"Cassidy?" I clear my throat and look at Chloe who gives me a small frown.

"Andrew got into a car accident. After I grab a few things, can you drive me back over there? His mom asked me to stay a few days." Chloe nods and puts a hand on my shoulder.

I told her about everything that happened last night before he left and she frowned. "What is with us and almost having babies?" I frown, she actually did have a baby. She lost it after two months. She took a deep breath. "I am okay Cassie. I am sad about the life I lost but at the same time, I know I wasn't ready yet. Neither one of us is." I nod and close the bag I put together.

We walk back out of the house and she drives me back to his house. I see an unfamiliar car in the driveway and take a deep breath as I walk into the house. I take my shoes off again and walk upstairs, I hear talking coming from his bedroom.

"It's been a long time. Why are you trying to make amends now?" Andrew asks.

"Because I missed you." I hear a girl's voice and my heart shatters. "I saw you with that one girl and I knew I messed up. You and I belong together. Andy, you know we are meant to be together." I thought I was the only one he let call him Andy.

I take a stuttering breath as I open the door to his room, I see the girl sitting on his lap, and pain courses through my body as I watch her smirk. "I just came to grab my phone. Sorry, I bothered you." I start to walk away but he calls my name. I stand right outside the door and try to blink the tears away.

"Cassie, wait," he calls over to me as he stumbles towards me. "Please just listen to me. I swear nothing was happening." I turn to look up at the man I love but I can't see through my blurred vision.

"I believe you. But I think she wants your attention more than I deserve it right now. I love you, Andrew. But if I have to fight for your attention with someone like her I already know you'd choose her." he starts to protest but the girl walks over to us and wraps her arm around his waist. "I'll tell your mom that you were taken care of."

I walk out of the house and get back in Chloe's car. She didn't leave yet which I was thankful for. "What happened?" I shake my head and tell her to drive home.
