Love at First Fight

I don't know what to do anymore. Everything is so conflicting now with Andrew. Tonight is the dance and Chloe asked me to go with her since Mason had to go out of town with his parents. Bailey drove here so we could all ride together.

"Do you have the dresses?" Daisy yells up to us and I chuckles.

"Yeah, we got them yesterday after the game." Chloe calls back as Daisy walks into the room with Brandi on her heels.

"I want pictures, I didn't have sisters growing up and I wasn't allowed to go to any of my dances in high school so I need pictures to live through you guys." We chuckle and nod.

"Can I ride with you guys? I had to take my car into the shop." I look at Chloe and Bailey giving them a pleading look and asking them not to let him ride with us but they insisted.

"Totally, but you are paying for food." Bailey gives him a cheeky grin as she walks into the kitchen. Daisy and Chloe follows her leaving me and Andrew standing there.

"Are we okay?" I nod.

"Yep. Great. Never better." I try to walk past him but he grabs my bicep and pulls me closer.

"Don't lie to me, baby girl." I take a stuttering breath.

"We're fine. But umm, what happened yesterday or the night before it-it umm can't happen again. It's not right." he gives me a confused look. "Nothing, forget it. Umm, I'll be up in my room." I pull my arm away from him and walk away.

"Babmi are you dressed?" I look down at the dark gray dress Bailey picked out for me, she said the white lace down the front of the top complimented my eyes while the gray complimented my skin. She loves fashion so I should listen to her. I take a deep breath and slip on a pair of heeled boots I had.

I walk down the stairs with my phone in hand, "Yeah." Chloe and Bailey were both standing in their dark blue dresses. Bailey picked all of them, she didn't want us to know until we got them because she wanted it to be a surprise.

I shake the thought from my head and stand with them by the stairs. Daisy gets all of the pictures she wants before we move away from the stairs. I watch Andrew walk down the stairs in complete awe, he wore a dark gray suit with a white undershirt and a gray tie. He looks like a walking sin in a business suit.

"Awesome it fits! I didn't think it would." Dakota walks out of the kitchen with a smile on his face. I have never seen that suit in my life.

"When did you get that?" I clear my throat, making Chloe and Bailey giggle.

I move my curled hair in front of my cheeks to hide the fact I am blushing. "I wore that at my college graduation. I had no other use for it so I let Andrew borrow it." I take a deep breath and nod.

"Oh okay. Well umm, we are umm going to be late." I walk out of the house and stand next to the car waiting for Bailey to unlock the door. I get in the front seat and stare out the window.

Bailey pulls into the school's parking lot and we all get out, I spot Mason in the distance and smile as I nudge Chloe in the arm. She gives me a confused look and smiles widely as she sees him. She runs over to him and wraps her arms around his neck as he picks her up and spins her around.

I smile and take a few pictures of them for Chloe. I feel someone watching me, it isn't Andrew, I knew his gaze. This one was foreign and different. I look around and see Danny standing with some of his friends from school. Jackson is staring at me. He never really looks at me or talks to me so I ignore the feeling.

I watch Bailey get asked to dance by the guy she has been crushing on for a while now. He pulls her onto the dance floor and I smile. I lean against the wall holding everyone's things while they all dance. Danny walks over to me with a small smile on his face, "Do you want to dance?" I look down at my hands. "I have an extra set of keys to get into Bailey's car." I smile and nod. We walk out to the car and put everything down. I just take my phone so I can get pictures of the girls with their dates for them.
