Chapter 10

Yoriichi entered the Hokage building without even paying attention to the receptionist he moved towards Hiruzen's office. Knocking three times he heard a little shuffling before hearing an 'enter' he opened the door and closed it behind him.

"You wanted to see me?" Hiruzen raised eyebrow

"I called for you an hour ago" Hiruzen stated

"I was hungry. You can't get anything done on an empty stomach" Yoriichi argued back

"But I'm the Hokage" Hiruzen argued

"So, My point is more practical" Hiruzen shut up knowing he can't win the argument

"So what did you call me for?" 

"Well I was informed by Iruka about your marks and have seen your academy records, It comes to my attention that I cannot put you on a team of free Genin" Yoriichi raised an eyebrow

"So what do you suggest?" He questioned

"Well, I had shown the records to a few of the Jonin and clan heads. Almost everyone wanted you as a student after a little bit of debate we reached a conclusion where you will be put on an independent team, where you work with other teams. I would also like to promote you to the rank of chunin, making you eligible to higher ranking missions" When Hiruzen finished, Yoriichi was quiet, he had no emotion on his face no the smallest of twitch, the anbu hidden in the corners had their own though.

'He has trained well' Anbu#1 thought as he watched the boy's movements

'Are kids that tall these days?' Anbu#2 thought

'He'll be an excellent shinobi' Anbu#3 thought praising the boy like his teammates....however their captain and Hokage had different opinions, sharing the same thought

'What a Monster!' While the other three anbu were blind to it, the captain and the Hokage saw the invisible change in the air, that could only be seen by people who had gotten a near-death experience at its highest. The air around Yoriichi was heavy the Hokage and captain could feel it in their body giving them slight goosebumps. Yoriichi sighed, and the captain visibly flinched that was seen by the Hokage (unknowingly Yoriichi).

"Well I have to decline the promotion since I promised Naruko that we would get promoted together, So sorry to bust your bubble" Hruzen sighed thank full that captain stopped himself from attacking the boy. 

"It's alright. You may take your leave now" Yoriichi nodded and left without saying anything, just as the door closed the anbu captain fell to his knees panting truly scared for the first time.

"You need a minute?" Hiruzen asked

"Apologies Lord 3rd" The rest of the team was confused at this but said nothing, hiruzen kept quiet. Yoriichi got out of the Hokage building, thankfully that he had refused the promotion.

'Knowing Hiruzen had seen my records and had been spying on me through his crystal ball, making my life harder since I could sense Kabuto trying to spy on me, even that fucking black goo of mother's boy trying to spy on Naruko and me. Meaning that Hiruzen wants to send me out in the field as soon as possible since on low survival rate missions, reducing my chance of being here then he will use this time to act as a parental figure in Naruko's life like he has tried to before, I can't leave Nruko with Mikoto since the other clan heads may see it as the remaining Uchiha trying to get power, with the village elder and Bitchanzo(Danzo) having the brain dead of a monkey civilian council in their hands have a higher chance for their opinions to be agreed to!' 

Yet despite this, he felt no anger towards Hiruzen, he is the Hokage who only wants his village safe in this world only after that is he anyone's friend, the parent, or anything. The only anger he had was towards Jiraiya and Kakashi. Yoriichi has seen Kakashi around the village, he knew about Naruko yet backed off because of his insecurities and lets not got over to Jiraiya.
