Chapter 21

 Sun was rising over the Horizon and its rays fell over the bridge builder's house Team 7 was currently resting in. They had been ambushed by demon brothers but Naruko and Sasuke defeated them with ease. However, the real challenge came later when the Demon of the Mist Zabuza Momochi attacked them, Kakashi took the Rouge Nin defeating him with the help of Naruko and Sasuke but was gravely injured. So he was carried to Tazuna's house, where his daughter Tsunami treated his wounds and got Kakashi to a bed. Naruko, Sasuke and the pink banshee were sitting at the table having nothing to do, Tazuna was on the couch drinking again, and Inari son of Tsunami was in his room sulking. Tsunami was in the Kitchen preparing breakfast though it wouldn't be much given the state of their country add to the fact that shinobi eat a lot, Tsunami would have to do her best. 

The Team was at the table and it was clear they were very bored. Naruko let out a sigh.

Naruko: I am so bored~

Pink Monkey: It's the first time agree with Naruko on something.

Sasuke remained quiet but agreed with the two, he wanted to do some training but the only thing he could right now do would be physical training because doing any ninjutsu would draw attention to them. There the sound of footsteps drew the attention of Team 7, they looked towards the stairs to see Kakashi coming down.

Pink Trash: Kakashi sensei!

The shouting banshee's voice caught the attention of the rest of the house who quickly came to see what had happened. As Kakashi came down the team approached him.

Naruko: Sensei! Are you all right?!

Sasuke: Idiot! Does he look ok!?

Naruko: I can see that stupid duckbutt! It's called showing courtesy!

Kakashi sweat dropped, he hadn't even been up for five minutes and they were fighting.

Kakashi: 'Seriously, I'll pick facing an army over having to listen to their quarrels anymore at this point' All right you that's enough you two.

Tsunami: Should you be out of your bed? You can get hurt again.

Tazuna: She's right.

Kakashi: I appreciate the concern but I can handle it.

Tazuna: If you say so.

Kakashi took a seat at the table with the team. Tsunami returned to the kitchen with Tazuna going back to the couch. Kakashi looked at the team and decided to inform them about the situation. After a few seconds, the loudest one shouted.

Sakura: What do you mean Zabuza is alive!? 

The other two looked shocked as well.

Kakashi: That's right given the fact that Mist nin have a protocol that they must get only the head of the nin's body and destroy the rest on the spot.

Sasuke: But the nin took the body.

Kakashi: Exactly that means they were an ally of Zabuza and he is alive.

Naruko: Shouldn't he be badly hurt?

Kakashi: That is correct and he will most likely to make a recovery in a week, even though I should be back on my feet by that time. Even in this state, I will try to help you train.

Pink board: But sensei wouldn't that make your recovery slower?

Kakashi gave them an eye smile and waved his hand dismissing the worries.

Kakashi: Don't worry, I can handle it. 

Suddenly there was a knock on the door.

Tsunami: I got it.
