I was swinging around New York making sure everything was okay around the neighborhood Until i got a call from Clint Barton
"Hey Clint!" I say swinging to a ledge "Hey kid, listen somethings not right have you checked the news?" He asked me sounding concerned "No why? Is everything okay?" I ask "The ronin is back" Clint says exhaling sharply. I was shocked and checked the news to see that there was sightings of the Ronin around New York. "Im on it Clint" "alright kid I'm searching on the ground" I nodded realizing he cant see me and immediately slammed my palm to my face.
I was patrolling around the town searching for the Ronin until I saw a van pull up on the side of the road and i decided to check it out. I swung to the nearest ledge to listen in on what was going on. "We got you now, bro." I heard a tall man say "why you makin' it so tough on us bro?" I heard another say I saw a figure standing in between the gang of people standing there in silence until the figure threw a punch at the guy. I jumped in, landed straight on my feet and punched one of the goons "hey guys nice too meet you I'm spider man" i say throwing another punch to one of the goons gut. I looked to my right to see the figure getting punched by one of the goons I quickly ran over,webbed his head and pulled it straight to the ground.
I grabbed the figure and pulled him into alley while he tried to punch his way out of it. I pushed him against the wall and unmasked him "Oh shit, y-you're a girl?" "Y-you're the spider man!" The black haired girl says to me out of breath. I got a call from Clint and answered it immediately "Uh hey Clint, whats up?" I ask still holding the girl against the wall "whats up? You know damn well whats up, did you find the Ronin?" He asks me "Uh yeah, small problem I don't think this is the actual Ronin" "what do you mean?" He asks "ill tell you later see ya!" "Wait no pet-" i cut off the call and look back to the girl who is still breathing heavily and panting. I remove my hand from her arm "im so sorry! I thought you were someone else" I apologize "No no its fine" she says looking at me "Um i have a question, who are you?" I ask "Right um, Im Kate Bishop" "you look the same age as me" i say "wait so spider mans not old?" She asks me "what? No spider man is not old! How do you think i still look this good in shape?" I say spinning around "well I-" I cut Kate off because we were getting off topic. "How did you get this suit" I ask her "I..." before she could answer i heard police sirens and groaned "look we have to get you out of here okay? Its not safe for you to be in this. Do you live near here?" I ask putting my hands on her shoulders "yeah. I live just..." "okay." "Here take this are you, okay?" I ask her leading her away from the alley "I'm really fine, i mean i saw a dead body thats a first" "cmon we will talk when you're safe".
"Where did you learn to fight like that?" "I,uh, started taking martial arts when i was five." She replies "Look, just so you know, I'm not some total noob, right? Um... I was a little overwhelmed but i held my own with those douchebags. Were right here, some people have called me the worlds greatest archer." "Yeah, are you one of those people?" I ask chuckling a little "well, one of them is. Yes." She says as she stutters over her words which I thought was pretty cute. "Do you mind opening the door?" I ask her "right, hey um pizza I got a pizz-mhm" she says into the microphone as the door opens. We walk into her apartment where i see a dog lying on the floor with a pizza box "is he yours?" I ask "Uh no I just found him" Kate replies "oh, so do you live alone? and are you sure no one followed you?" "Yes I'm sure, and yes i do live alone and by the way I've never seen what you look like" "Right um, you have to promise me you'll never tell a single soul" "I promise not to tell a single soul" she says as she puts a hand on her heart "okay here we go" I say slowly taking my mask off.
"Wow" she says looking at me "what? Don't tell me I'm bleeding it takes forever to get that off my mask" I say rubbing my face "no no its just um you look much better than i thought" "that means a lot coming from the person who thought i was old" i say chuckling "i never really caught your name?" Kate asks "Im peter, peter parker" I say holding out my hand and she quickly shakes it.
"I should go" I say holding the suit "yeah um before you go, could you sign my bow you and hawkeye are kinda my favorite avengers" she says smiling holding a pen and her bow "sure Kate" i say smiling back at her "hey give me a call if you ever need your friendly neighborhood spider-man" i say holding out my phone for her to put her number in. I get ready to walk out the door but Kate stops me "you're going out through the door?" "Yeah? Am i not supposed to?" I ask facing her "no no its just your Spiderman i thought you would like jump out of my window" she asks playing with her hands "do you want me too?" I ask her "i mean it would be cool" she says looking down. I smile at her before putting on my mask and doing as she wishes "see ya bishop!" I say before running out "See you peter" she says with a smile on her face looking at me swing in the cold New York air.
