and i can go anywhere i want (just not home)

All of them had no idea what just happened, but they did know they had to make up a plan, but for now, they would sleep on it. Kie was crashing at the chateau, she forgot about that.

Kie stopped out the front of Pope's house, he hopped out of the front and then stopped leaning against the frame of the car door to talk to them "I'll hit you guys up tomorrow, come up with a plan, it isn't over yet" they both nodded and both watched Pope walk into his house, Kie let out a sigh, so did JJ, he didn't know why she didn't start to drive off, but he took a chance, he got out of the car and hopped in the front seat next to Kie, she looked at him "You ready?" he didn't answer, she went to adjust the stick and when JJ put his hand on Her's to stop her "Kie wait" she looked at him "I'm sorry" he said to her, "It's just been a crazy night, you know, and I didn't mean the stuff I said and-" she cut him off to start talking "JJ it wasn't all you, I did say some stuff as well and uh.... I'm sorry" JJ smirked "What are you sorry for?" she looked up at him "Oh shut up" "No no I want to hear it" he said gesturing to his ear, she sighed "Fine... I'm sorry for stepping on your hand" his emotions changed in a sarcastic way "Oh so you did step on my hand?!" she opened her mouth to speak but he didn't let her "Wowwww Kie this" he moved his finger around in a circle, "This, this is a new low" she smiled "Oh really" "Mhm yeah all you" "Well if you weren't such a baby then you wouldn't have fallen of the ladder all dramatically and made Pope break the camera in the first place" she huffed, He was smiling even more "Maybe if you didn't scream out bloody murder to ward then we wouldn't have been rushing down the ladder in the first place huh?" she laughed, admitting defeat she said "Ok I'm done" she said starting to drive off "Your so easy to piss off" he said poking the side of her stomach making her flinch, she smacking his hand away "Hey! Don't touch the driver!" they were both laughing.

It was 4am when they got back to the chateau, there was no point in sleeping now, they both didn't want to anyway.

Kie flicked on the chateau lights, "God I need to get out of these clothes" JJ nodded "Same" he yawned, JJ turned to speak "Uh, you go first, I'll make some coffee something, if we have any" Kie rubbed her hands on her jeans and turned to him "No you go changed, your covered in dirt" she said walking toward him in the kitchen "Nah it's all go-" She stopped in front of him and patted his chest "You smell like shit JJ go change" she walked past him and he started to walk to the bedroom "You don't smell too good yourself Kie!" she heard the door shut and rolled her eyes, he kept talking while he was getting changed, "So uh!" he called out, "What do we about this gun situation!" Kie continued rummaging through the cupboard for instant coffee "Uh!... I don't know!, I mean, It's probably washed in the storm drains so, I think we should start with the sewers!" He walked out of the room, buttoning up his cargo short shorts looking confused "The sewers?!" she saw the instant coffee at the back of the cupboard and sighed with relief, standing up from her crouching position and putting the coffee on the bench "Yep, it's the best way to do it" he walked around the kitchen bench to her, crossing his arms and leaning on it while she started scooping the coffee into the mugs "Ok, we'll let Pope know later" she nodded "Here" he said taking the spoon out of her hand "Go get changed" she tried grabbing the spoon "Wai-" "You smell like shit Kie go change" she rolled her eyes and pushed his head with her hand as she walked to the bedroom, she walked out of the bedroom again and into the bathroom "I do stink I'm showering" he chuckled under his breath, she re opened the door "And your having one after me" "Ok mom" she rolled her eyes once again. 

They both had showered now, She changed into a orange crop stop with spaghetti straps and black denim shorts, when she was done she walked out scrunching her hair in a towel and then hanging it on the bathroom door, it was weird how normal it felt with them, she was almost worried, she wondered what he though they were, did she need to wait for him to ask to be his girlfriend, or where they already there? So many thing were running through her mind. Sunrise was starting, JJ had set her coffee on the table, waiting for her at the couch, she grabbed her coffee and sat next to him, wet hair dripping on her shoulders, he was wearing that red cap that he loved so much, she loved it to. He broke the silence "I texted Pope, he's going to pick us up in 10" "Alright" she said as she sat down on the couch "so-" JJ started, but he was cut off by Kiara whispering to herself, "Shit" she whispered "Shit Shit Shit" she stood up and yanked her phone out of her pocket "What?!" he said standing up immediately, worrying, "I forgot I told my parents I'd be home early" Well shit, he thought, "Oh" he said sitting back on the couch "I'm glad you didn't freak out" "JJ I'm serious, if I don't show up there going to send out a search party, there being so anal about me going out because of John B and Sarah" she tucked a wet strand of hair behind her ear and he looked at her "But their alive?" he said, she looked at him and then looked back at her phone "They don't know that do they JJ" "Right..." he said "Just make up a random excuse like.... like I dunno, Pope needs help with studying!" "Yeah they'll believe that won't they" He forgot Pope was the smart one "Uh I'll just say, I need help with study, yeah.... yeah they'll believe that" they heard beeping out the front, JJ ran to the kitchen to get something and then they both ran out to the car, "Ready?" JJ nodded and they both ran out to the car, JJ got in the front and Kie in the back, "We really doin this?" Pope said looking at both of them, JJ nodded and looked to the front "Let's get dirty" he said.

They got to the storm drain and parked up the top of the road, "Alright" JJ said "This is the north drain, it should've gotten washed into the gully, so if it got flushed out from this drain then it would've been pushed out to like-" "Somewhere into this trash" Pope finished the sentence for him, Kie screwed her nose up at all of the plastic floating in the water, "Correct" JJ said, Kie took a deep sigh "Oh my god, Pope who use plastic should be shot" she said as she pulled her hair up into a bun, JJ looked up at her, "Ok, personally, I love plastic, use it everyday, love the stuff" she looked at him with a slightly disgusted look "Ok well hopefully you recycle it and don't just let it flush into the ocean" JJ looked at her and continued speaking "Ok- well uh I thought you would say something like that so uh-" he pulled some bundled up trash bags out of his pocket "Trash bags" he said showing  them to her, she new she picked a good one, this is why she loved him, did she love him? absolutely, was she going to say it to him anytime soon? absolutely not, she was so afraid that would be the thing to scare him off, it's all new, everything, Pope didn't even know, "Did you just proactively protect the environment?" she said, he was smirking "Maybe" his eyes where half shut because of the sun, but he could see the smile on her face, oh he knew he got the girl, he loved  that smile, he loved  her, god the thought of that scared him, in the best way possible. Pope was looking at them, back and forth "You want me to leave you two alone or...." JJ threw the trash bags at his chest "Let's get moving" he knew something was up.

They spend half an hour looking through all of the trash there was around the storm drain, but nothing. "If it's not in the trash then it's gotta be somewhere in the storm drain"  Pope said, JJ directed his hand at the drain "Yeah its- its in the drain" Kie nodded and accepted their fate "Of course it is" JJ leant over to the back pack "Good thing I brought the crow" Kie looked over to him "So are we gonna do like, rock, paper, scissors?" "No" JJ said almost instantly "Or like, alphabetically?" she continued, JJ and Pope both got down and attempted to get the bars of the drain so it was actually accessible, Kie just stood there, "Or like oldest goes?" she kept going,  JJ looked at her "In the sewer, there's this worm that you get when your down there" Kiara looked at him with fear "It gets into your blood and then it... has to come out your pecker, so uh.... that would be a hard pass from me", Pope spoke up "Yeah that's gonna be a no from me" the boys both looked at Kie, "No I get it... you guys are scared" She chuckled slightly, JJ could not let that slide "No I ain't scared it's the worm Kie-" "No no it's- it's kinda cute actually" JJ was still speaking "I'm not-" "No it's cute" she said starting to bend down, "You should've just said- you should've just led with that, I'll do it" JJ leant on the bars and looked down at her "Ok just... be carful alright?" she looked at him, close to his face, he could almost feel her breath, this was a great time to tease "I'll be so carful" she said, he nodded "I deserve that".
