Bell (P.O.V)
"Welcome to the orphanage" a nun wearing black greets me. "Hi Nice to meet you" I say. "This is where you will be staying and Catrina will be showing you to your room. You will unpack she will show you around and talk about the rules then you will come to the kitchen and eat dinner do you understand?" She asks "yes". I hope she doesn't refer to the bully from the school Catrina I thought. "Catrina come please". Say the nun and Catrina from our school comes. I get a sudden chill down my back and the temperature drops.
"You know what to do". The nun says sweetly to Catrina. I pick up my bags and walk into the orphanage and I follow Catrina to my room. "You'll be sharing with me and I'm sorry about your parents". She says softly scratching her nape it's ok. "Omg where is Luna where is my sister?" I practically scream. "Hey hey hey calm down she is in another room crying, I think she needs you she came earlier". She answers.
"Thanks Catrina I'll go visit her now if you can show me please" I ask more like a demand. "Sure" she says and we get up and I follow her out the door to my sister. As Catrina was about to open the door I grab her hand and make her face me. "I know we got off on the wrong foot but can you please be my friend? and thanks for everything". I say "um sure I would love to be your friend but I don't think your friends will like me". She answers "it'll be alright I promise" and then we both walk in.
As I walk in the door i notice my crying younger sister is on the floor. I carefully approach her and sit down next to her and cuddle her tight. "I-I thought y-you were dead to" she stutters. "No no I'm here and everything is going to be alright you just always have to listen and stay close with me". I say. "Ok" she says. "Come on I'll show you guys around the house this is your knew home" we both just nod.
"Luna meet my new best friend Catrina, Catrina meet my younger sister Luna". I say they both just smile. "Just before I show you guys the house these are the rules for You" Catrina says and hands us both a piece of paper.
Rules:
Mine
1.) be at school on time
2.) do dishes every night
3.) help younger kids get dressed
4.) you pay for your own school fees if not bad luck move to the public system
5.) no drop offs at school
6.) make breakfast and get ready for school yourself every morning
7.) further rules will be instructed
8.)bed time 10:00
9.) must tell the owner before going out
10.) if you ignore these rules pay you shall pay the price
Lunas which I read out to her:
1.) ask sister for what you can or can't do
2.) be In the car for school by 8:35 am
3.) must be in bed by 6:00pm
4.) breakfast is made for you
5.) anything you don't understand ask your sister
6.) if you don't follow these rules pay the price
