Tae shook his head as he pulled back. "Y-you'll leave me t-too after they're sentenced". Y/N sighed and caressed his hair. "I haven't confirmed what we'll be doing yet so don't think of it that way...for now, tho it'll be hard. Accept the reality as is there's no other choice buddy, this is my home and it's your home now aswell. Everything is gonna be alright, from now on if you're ever overwhelmed by your emotions come talk to me, I'll be at your side every step of the way".

His sobs has reduced to little sniffles and hiccups as he looked down. "Let me get your bags and we'll go in". Silently he followed her in and up the stairs. Her home was really comfy and aesthetic. He felt really safe, as they got to the top of their stairs he saw two doors. One on the left and one on the right side of the stairs.

She went into the room on the left and switched on the lights. The room was neat and simple a big bed, a work area with a desk, chair,standing lamp and book shelf, the furthest wall was all glass covered by a dark curtain. There was a small walk in closet and another door leading to a bathroom. Everything was several shades of Grey and black and brown accents.

"This is your room, there's only one other room up here and it's mine, so you know where to find me. I'll put your bag with your clothes in your closet I'll leave your school stuff out here, u can pack them on the shelf tomorrow, I know you'd be tired right now". He nodded and sat on his bed. "There are tooth brushed soap and everything you'll need in the bathroom already, I'm gonna go freshen up, you do the same, after that I'll be making dinner for us so come downstairs".

"Okay, thank u". She nodded and left closing the door. For the next few days she kept him home from school as to not add to his stress, news had already gotten all over the city that the Two biggest drug dealers were caught. Tae barely spoke to y/n and she never forced him but she could see him slowly warming up to her as the days passed.

Now...it's his first day back out to school. Y/N put her wallet and phone in the pockets of her uniform as she looked back at tae with her keys in hand. She could see how nervous he was. "U okay Tae"? He looked at her for few seconds before shaking his head. Looking at her watch she saw they had time so she dropped her keys on the couch and walked closer to him.

"What's bothering u bear"? She tried to give little nicknames to make things more comfortable for him. "I just don't know how to face the public anymore". She understood his fear all too well. "I can't guarantee u how well this day will go Tae, but u have my number, I'm one call away if u need me. I'll be at your school in no time, don't hide a thing from me, alright"?

She ran her fingers through his hair making him smile a little and hug her out of reflex. It shocked her how sudden it was but it made her smile as she hugged him back. "It's getting late, let's make a move". He nodded as he pulled away and they left.

As time passed and they neared his school taes stomach was doing flips. He held tightly onto his sweater paws, his oversized hoodie basically swallowed his small frame making him look so adorable. As she pulled up infront of the college she looked at the nervous boy.

"Go on, and remember...I'm one call away, don't hesitate". He took a deep breath as she handed him his backpack from the backseat. "Have a great day, u can do this". She passed him a gentle smile which he returned then got out of the car. She watched as he walked up the stairs to the entrance and then disappeared into his school.

"I hope things go okay for him...no doubt some kids are heartless and might taunt him". She thought to herself as she drove off heading toward the station to see what her day held for her.

The morning passed agonizingly slow for y/n, all around the clock the only thing her and Joon worked on was interrogation of taes parents and to say they were stubborn would be an understatement. She was angered even more when they started speaking lowly of Tae about how he made their job harder and they couldn't afford an abortion so they were forced to keep him.

She wanted to kill them on spot seeing how much Tae loved his parents but they saw him as a problem. Such a sweet boy didn't deserve such an image. It killed her that she hadn't gotten a word from Tae either, she did text him to see how things were going but no answer. She didn't want to call him herself as she didn't know his class schedule she didn't want to get him in trouble.

"Come on Tae answer me". She groaned in frustration as she stood with joon in their cabin. "You're sure concerned about him". Joon smiled seeing a stone cold officer like her being soft for a boy. "I don't see a choice, he is my responsibility now and I understand what he's feeling, u and I met because I lost my parents to their wrong deads and the law once upon a time your parents took me in, u saw how I suffered in school when everyone go to know the crap my parents did...I don't want to see him suffer".

Just then her Phone buzzed indicating a call...it was Tae. She answered immediately.

"Hey bear, how's it going". She heard him release a loud sob. "Tae what's wrong". "I wanna go home...please, i-i don't wanna be h-here anymore". "I'm on my way Tae, where are u"? "T-the bathroom". "Stay there, I'll text u when I'm at your school to come out". She hung up quickly grabbing her keys.

"Y/N whats wrong"? "I think something happened, i swear if anyone of those little hood rats in that school touched him". She ran out quickly signing for her leave.
