"Give me back my girlhood, it was mine first." - Taylor Swift

Last night was a train wreck.

To say the least. My parents continued to yell at me how much of a bad daughter I was. I tried to cut in sometimes to talk but I just got interrupted time after time. Then they pulled the ultimate parent move and sent me to my room. Which makes it worse, because they aren't my parents, they haven't even raised me. By the end, my parents were fighting with EACH OTHER and ended up ignoring me this morning.

I groan and slap my face. Music blasts through my eardrums with full volume as I tap my foot on the floor. I pick up my pen and twirl it effortlessly through my fingers. I look up from my laptop and book to take in the surroundings. Books are everywhere, ladders are tilted on the side of every two bookshelves, and the best part is that no one else is here. I grab my hot chocolate and take a sip. I've never been a fan of coffee. I only have hot chocolate in the fall or winter and frozen hot chocolate in the summer or spring. It's perfect. It's just the way I do things.

I had come early to the library to study and work on the history project since I didn't get much of it done yesterday. Which reminds me that I have to deal with Greyson's questions. It's inevitable. I mean he saw my parents fighting, saying I treat them with no respect, and then call me a whore. I don't even wanna know what he thinks of me anymore. What if he tells other people? Like the smart and colorful girl has problems. I snort.

Yeah right.

It was embarrassing. I bet he thinks I fuck and duck guys everyday. I mean he can't say anything about that- technically. Obviously the 'girl from the diner' is always there. I mean who even is she. I scoff. The way he was smiling while texting her. I click my pen. He was laughing while texting her. I click the pen twice, but faster. Of course he's going out with her, I bet she's a little miss perfect. I slam the pen hard onto the desk.

"Sh..." The librarian said, aggravated.

"Sorry!" I squeak.

I take my laptop and my notebooks by pushing them into my backpack. I carefully take off my glasses- since they're only used for reading up close. On my way out I make sure to place the book I was using back into its place. It's already 8 so I have a good 30 minutes to talk to Juli and everyone else.

I already got everything I need from my locker earlier this morning. I really needed to leave the house. When I told my parents, did they care? No. Did they even say anything? Nope. If you're going to embarrass me because you're mad then at least talk to me.

I head towards Juli's locker since that's where we mostly meet up other than at mine. I see our little group consisting of Ryan, Juli, Callum, Greyson, and-?

There's a girl standing next to Greyson, practically all over him. I squint my eyes as I stop in my tracks to take a good look at her. She has short blonde hair and blue eyes. Her legs are long and she is definitely taller than me and skinner. I start walking to the group once again. Once I get closer my heart starts to race. I get more anxious by the minute. The girl looks at me disgusted when I end up behind Juli who's talking to Callum. Greyson takes a look at me. His face is unreadable, almost like always.
