I took Allie upstairs after she fell asleep on my shoulder. I didn't understand what she said before. Why was she waiting? Where were her parents? And even her brother?
Luckily the party wasn't on for as long as we thought it would be. So there wasn't too much of a mess. I'd never thought Alexandra would be up to throw a party at her house. Yet again, she's been acting weird ever since last night. She left after getting a notification on her phone, she agreed to a party and on top of that she didn't care that I got a higher grade then her.
I open the door that's all the way down the hallway. It's the only one that's not labeled. She always liked plain. Basic, nothing too much. But she made it look good.
The room had a queen bed in the corner with a desk on the other side. She has a bookshelf filled with tons of books.
She used to always read. I wonder what happened. I lay her down in her bed, making sure she's comfy.
A knock emerges on the door before it opens. Callum comes in with Juli.
"Ryan's asleep on the couch." He laughs quietly. "He blacked out, took us awhile to lift him onto the couch so.." He trails off as his eyes meet Alexandra.
Both of them look worried. "She okay?" Juli asks.
"I think so." I replied. She's clearly not, but it's not something I should be telling anyone else. Juli nods.
"You guys should sleep on the bed and Callum and I can take the floor." I direct the sentence to Juli.
"Are you sure-? I mean you can take the bed." Her lips turn up only slightly.
"I just don't want to make her uncomfortable."
"Okay whatever you say." She travels in bed with Alexandra.
"C'mon let's go get some blankets from downstairs." Callum says.

Callum and I finally found some blankets. Even though I've been in this house before when I was younger it wasn't as much as she was at mine. She was always welcome.
We pull the blanket down from the top of the closet.
"You really like her?" Callum says from the back of me. I don't answer right away. "I trust you won't mess it up. I barely know her but she's already family to Juli and Ryan." He stops for a second. "And me."
"Yeah. I know." I whisper back.
We go back upstairs. Talking comes from the door and I can tell it's Alexandra's. I open it and find Juli and Alexandra staring at each other. Okay...
"Your nose is so cute." Alexandra boops her nose as Juli scrunches it.
"Why thank you."
Alexandra giggles before sighing. "Can you give me a shirt?" She puts a hand on Juli's shoulder.
"Hm." She hums. "Which one."
Alexandra's head turns and swivels around before reaching my eyes.
She turns back to Juli and points to me. "That one."
Juli laughs and smirks. "How about one that someone isn't wearing."
I place my blanket on the ground next to Alexandra's side of the bed when I realize I haven't moved.
"But I really wanted that one." Alexandra pouts. Cute.
Juli sighs and turns to me. "Greyson." She waits for me to turn. "Give her your hoodie."
I hesitate a little. "Okay fine."
Juli takes Allies hand and she goes to her drawers to pull out a pair of shorts, then she makes a stop towards me and holds out her hand.
I roll my eyes at her impatience. "Why aren't you nice to me like you are to Allie?" I take off my hoodie.
"Because she is a good friend."
I roll my eyes once again and hand it to her and they both go to the bathroom. Welp I don't have any spare clothes.
I hear snoring come from the other side of the bed. "Is that fucker already asleep?" I whisper to myself.
Soon enough Allie comes out of the bathroom in black shorts and my grey hoodie. Fuck. It looks good on her.
Alexandra has a drunk giddy smile on her face as she skips towards the bed. I turn on the light and lay on the ground.
Juli and Allie say goodnight. Then she turns to face me on the ground.
"Goodnight Grey." She smiles.
Grey.
She's said it before. But why is it that this time it feels different? She's just drunk. I try to wipe that thought away.
But it sparks a fire in my heart. It feels different because it is different.
