I wake up feeling groggy. I feel a warm body next to mine and squeeze it close to me.
"Grey." I mumble, unaware of what just came out of my mouth.
"Cal." A voice says. I nuzzle my head closer to the heat.
"They do know that we're here right?" Callum says and my eyes shoot open. Callum and Grey are standing there looking at us questioningly.
Juli is snuggling me as I'm doing the same. I don't let go, instead I say, "Uhm. Juli. I'm not Callum." I shake her a little.
She opens her eyes and immediately gets up. We look at eachother with the look that they just caught us. Saying their names.
Greyson has his usual stupid smirk along with Callums booming laugh.
They both leave without another word while Juli and I get up.
Instead of finding her funny happy face it's replaced with a frown.
"Juli." I came towards her. "What's wrong?" My hands take hers.
She shakes her head before speaking. " I'm sorry about last night."
My heart shatters. It isn't her fault. No matter how blood related she is to Jacob.
"Juli, no. His actions don't affect who you are. You're so sweet and you're my best friend." I emphasize the bestfriend part.
She smiles and nods. Her thumb goes over my hand. "Can I ask you something?"
I nod. "Anything."
"What's going on? With your parents." She clarifies.
I bite my lip.
"You don't need to tell me. I'm just-"
I put my hand out to stop her. "I need to tell someone. You're not pressuring me."
She nods, for me to continue.
"Well, as a kid, it wasn't supposed to happen. They didn't want kids. They still had half a year of college left which wasn't a lot, but it still made it hard for them." I look down, fiddling my hands. "Thankfully my dads parents were wealthy, it gave them a good financial place at least. My parents went to work and they were never really there to raise me in the few months I had grown, it was only my grandparents and me." I crack my knuckles to keep me distracted. "Until they died. Around when I was 1. That was also when my mom got pregnant again." I breathe in, not taking a glance at Juli. "They gave him everything and left me on the sidelines. They went to his games, they praised him, even for getting a C on his math test. I had a lot of hobbies. Just to get their attention." A year slips, and I let it. While my breath hitches. "My mom started to shame me. Like a lot and what I eat, about how I look. They went on a trip. To hawaii. Without me. Without telling me." I finally break out into sobs, that's when I get the courage to look up.
Julie's face has tears rolling down them. She climbs over and hugs me tightly. "I love you and you're perfect. You're so brave." I cry at her words.
"Can I show you something?" I sob. I've never shown anyone this before. I've never told anyone about this before. I've never talked about this before.
"Anything." She smiles weakly.
I pull down my shorts slightly from the side. Revealing a tattoo. A Neda symbol.

I go downstairs after showering and the whole place looks clean and new. Great, now I feel bad for letting them clean up the place.
I walk into the kitchen and I see Greysons back, while he's cooking. No shirt. Just sweats. All of a sudden my face turns red and I remember why he's shirtless.
My drunk self really wanted HIS hoodie. I run upstairs and find his hoodie quickly. I make my way back to the kitchen and throw the hoodie at his back.
"Huh?" He says turning around.
"Put your freaking hoodie back on." I cover my face, hoping he won't see me as the tomato I look like right now.
I hear him pick up the hoodie off the floor as he chuckles. "Sure sweetheart, as long as you don't ask for it again."
I open my eyes and he's already handing me a dish that has pancakes on it. Chocolate chip pancakes. I love those.
"Thanks." I smile while taking the plate and sitting at the island counter.
Juli, Callum, and Ryan come in and sit at the island. I keep quiet, not knowing what to say. After last night I don't know what they think of me. I keep my head down, not particularly wanting to eat.
After I revealed my eating disorder and tattoo to Juli, she comforted me a lot and she wants to help. She wants to help me recover. It's really hard but she understands. I can't be anymore grateful for her.
Ryan takes out his phone and something familiar comes out of it.
"Ryan." I turn to look at him. "Are you seriously watching the grinch right now?"
His eyes widen and he shakes his head.
"You dirty little liar." He seethe at him jokingly.
Everyone else laughs, and I feel free. I feel like I'm at home.
They are my home.
