Arielle's P.O.V.
As Sebastian slammed the phone against the wall everything seemed worthless to me now. He was going to kill me and when he is done no one will find my body. There won't be a funeral because they've never found me. A tear escaped the corner of my eye and made it's way down my cheek. I cursed that tear for showing weakness, but so what? It's too late now. They'll never find me and Shadow doesn't even care. A sob tried to come out, but I clenched my teeth and, kept it inside me.
As I sat quietly on the chair, trying to hide my feelings, Sebastian faced the wall with boiling anger. His hands were clenched next to his sides, his nostrils flared, and he was heavily breathing. I tuned out of my gloomy state and tentively looked at Sebastian. Jayk frowned and reached out to touch Sebastian's shoulder, but Sebastian jerked away from his grasp. The act was so violent that I had no desire to be touched by him.
"Jayk...I want you gather everyone so we can discuss something...," Sebastian choked out like he had just been strangled. I tensed up as he walked by me and looked at them at the corner of my eye.
"What about her?" Jayk asked, cocking his head toward me.
"Tie her up." With that he shut the door opened leaving an echo behind and leaving me feeling cold and scared.

Shadow's P.O.V.
I let my phone dangle from my fingers and fall with a smack to the floor. I didn't really care if I broken it. I just needed time to process of what had just happened. A shudder went through me and I slowly sat at the edge of the couch.
I rubbed my temples and leaned forward with my elbows on my knees. I silently shook my head to shake away this nightmare. She's hurting and what am I doing for her? Nothing. I'm very worthless for her right now. I know she was right there...She heard what I said. And she believed me. I took a deep breath. But there is no turning back now. Right now I just gotta find her and hope it's not too late if I ever do.
I rubbed my face and looked up. I clenched my jaw as a tear threatened to escape. My tears can't help her, but it will help me. I need a release and this will give me some strength...It will show me that I love her. It's stupid, I know, but--Wait! No, it's not stupid. It's not stupid loving her because she means a lot to me than she thinks. I'll find her because I owe her as much.
I glanced at my right, to the window. I had a perfect view of the night sky in front of my cabin. The glowing stars winked at me one by one. I reached out and traced one star in the window pane. I took a deep breath and shut my eyes before I dived in my plan. At times I would have liked to face only quietness and darkness because it would always be unchanging and same. There would be no light streaking against it. Only me and my dark, quiet friend. But then again wouldn't that be miserable? No one to talk to or look after? That's not life that's hell and I don't want that. I wasn't going to turn into some depressing person and whine that the world was a cruel world. Yeah it was, but it ain't that bad. It could be nice and sweet to you at times. Arielle's laughing face came in my mind and a flash of hurt striked my heart.
