Song of the day: Spotlight by Mutemath. It goes well with the chapter.

Previously...
I stuffed my coat and bag in my locker since I was only gonna keep my tan, light sweater on . I looked in my small mirror that was in my locker. I licked my lips to give my gloss a bit of shine to it and tucked a few wet strands of hair behind me ear. I nodded at how at my reflection.
"Am I interrupting?"
I snapped my head to my right side in surprise. In front of me was a handsome Shadow with his black hair spiked up in the front to the side, wearing black jeans with his usual silver chains attached to them, a black tee, and his leather jacket with his motorcycle boots added. When he's in school he looks like any normal teen in the world and when he's outside in the real world that totally changes... I say this from personal experience.
I furrowed my brow and blinked a few times. "Um no I was just...putting my stuff away that's it."
Shadow smiled. "Oh right. That's what you were doing." I rolled my eyes and then smiled up at him with my eyes.
"So now do you wanna talk?" I asked hesitantly.
Shadow looked down and then looked up at me. "A promise is a promise. That means yes, but not here though."
"Where then?" I would go anywhere with him right now just to talk to him and really get to know him even in the situation we were in. Some people would completely disagree with this and rather go hide under their beds, but not me. No, I was given a choice and there is no turning back even thought I knew he wanted that...
Shadow cocked his head and said,"I have an idea where, but I want to go now though."
"Now?" I inquired with an eyebrow raised.
"Yes now if you don't mind, of course."
I pursed my lips,"Um no I don't mind. I don't feel like going to class anyway." I just didn't. I probably would be half-asleep in 3 minutes of the class.
Shadow raised an eyebrow, but decided to let it go. "Alright. Let's go before the hall monitors catch us, but I doubt that." He said ending with a smug look on his face.
I smiled and grabbed only my coat since I'm not gonna take my bag with me! I'll place it inside Jodie's locker since I knew her combination number and so she can take to me after school, I thought.
I closed my locker and walked with Shadow toward the school's exit. Along the way our hands would bump against each other, but that's as far as we would go. In the meantime I was wondering where we would be heading to since he didn't bother answering my question.
Would it be somewhere public? Like Starbucks or the Park? Or somewhere where it's quiet and peaceful?
I found Jodie's locker and stuffed my bag in there along with the key to my car since I had a feeling I wasn't going to use it in this situation. I hope she wouldn't drop to conclusions when she saw it there without an explanation.

I gaped at Shadow's ride. Do I really have to ride that thing? Where the hell did he get it? Questions were passing through my head, but instead of focusing on them I spoke them out.
"I'm not riding this thing am I? I mean I never had any experience with one these so I'll probably kill myself out there!" I said with uncertainty and fear. I'm gonna die, I thought.
My shock came from seeing a Honda CBR1100XX Blackbird: a sleek, modern motorcycle. I was gonna ride this thing, a motorcycle that could end up killing me in the corner of the street.
