I climbed the porch steps, opened the door, and headed toward my room.
I plopped in my bed, stared at my Christofer Drew poster to have a realization hit me: Shadowfax Skywood was going to my house to finish an assignment.
I groaned, this is going to be interesting.
So I got off my bed and got my homework out to get it over with. I cracked my fingers, my fingers are going to cramp up when I'm done with my homework. I dived in my homework.

An hour and a half later I was done with my homework. Yes even in the first day of school they still give us homework. School is a bitch sometimes.
My stomach growled, begging for some food. I stood up from my desk and headed downstairs.
I padded toward the kitchen and took a green apple. I checked my cellphone it was 4:45 P.M. I left the kitchen to watch some T.V. in the living room. I plopped on a couch and flipped the channels. I decided on watching the Ghost Whisperer. After several minutes of getting into it, my mind wandered toward school when I walked back from my little chat with Shadow to the cafeteria. His name was a mouthful so I shortened it to Shadow, it sounded better and shorter! My mind took me back to the cafeteria...

When I laid eyes on my friends as I got back from my conversation with Shadow they were gaping at me with shock. I had crossed my arms and laughed at them.
Ruby got in control faster than they did and said out loud,"Okay what was up with that?" I settled in my seat and took a bite of my now cold pizza, but I didn't care.
Jodie and Seth got in control now with Jodie saying,"Yeah seriously. He comes in here like...like... well you know what I mean." I shrugged, not seeing anything wrong with it... Well, I didn't see anything wrong with it 'cause well, I enjoyed my conversation with him. It was funny and nice. I smiled at the memory
Seth leaned toward me. "Explain." That's the only thing he said.
While they talked I kept eating my slice of pizza until I was done with a swig of my apple juice.
I simply said, "He just wanted to know if he could come over my house to finish the assignment we have in Literature. Remember?" This is no huge deal right now I just wanted to finish my lunch with some peace and quiet before our lunch period was over. Also, I didn't feel like telling them.
Jodie reacted. "That's all? Thank god it was short!" She seemed to get over this situation like I was. I nodded.
Ruby decided to say something that shocked the socks outta of us,"I hope you don't get raped." I jumped out of my seat and gaped at her. What the fuck was up with that?!
Seth looked at her with a sick look,"How can you think that! Get a handle of yourself! And Shadowfax doesn't play around with girls, he ain't some perverted dude, you know! Well, he doesn't look like one...but c'mon, man! Now, please, switch of conversation before I have to kill you both. Okay, Jose?"
Me and Jodie laughed. Ruby glared at Seth mockingly.
"My name ain't Jose if you want a Jose there is Jose Mendez over there!" Ruby pointed toward the the other of the cafeteria where a lean dark-haired guy was seated.
Seth laughed. "Oh shut up! I'm gonna bring him over here if I have to!" Ruby yelled no.
I laughed and took a bite of my brownie. My lunch period ended with all of us laughing until we couldn't take it no more.

I laughed at the memory. Jose Mendez looked at us like we were idiots when he saw us.
I sighed and took my cell out of my pocket, it was 4:57 P.M. I let out another sigh and my eyes wandered over to the T.V. I decided I could use a nap since I had another hour because who knows maybe he'll decide to ditch me for something.
He's been surprising me a lot anyways.
Apparently my evening didn't go out like that....
