3 Years Later...
Junior Year
I woke annoyingly at the beeping sound of my phone's alarm. My arm shot up from the covers and stumbled along the the top of my desk to its destination: which was to turn off my damn phone! Unsuccessfully, my phone fell to the ground beside the other side of my desk. I made a sighing sound as it shut up and rolled to my side ready for sleep to enfold me, but I was interrupted by the pounding footsteps coming toward my door and the banging sound of my door hitting the wall.
"Arielle! Arielle! Wake up! Breakfast's ready and school's here! Aren't you excited 'cause I am!" my little sister Vanessa squealed, jumping up and down my bed. I looked at her through my slitted eyes, damn she sure had a heck of an energy inside of her. So much energy on a small, petite body. This is my younger sister Vanessa. She's a very weird person, who asks too many ridiculous questions, and is ten years old. Apparently, ten years old act like teenagers meaning they have boyfriends and girlfriends! What's up that? She doesn't want a boyfriend because she thinks they're 'yucky'! I looked over my sister as she wore a pink t-shirt with a rainbow peace sign in it, khaki shorts, and purple converse shoes. Reflecting her personality just right. She was wearing Silly Bandz (god did those turn popular, I could've invented those).
She jumped of my bed, opened my window to let some morning sunshine in, and ran out of my room yelling for me to go downstairs. From where I was I could smell the Oregon presence in the air, it was peaceful with a hint of mustiness in it. I sighed as I got out of bed and got my slippers.
Hupphing, I padded toward my bathroom and went to take a shower.
Thirteen minutes later I put on a pair of jeans, a pink Aeropostale shirt with some other intricate designs in them, and purple converse shoes. I let my chesnut hair down, I put some accesories on, grabbed my bag with my phone, and headed dowstairs.

I was greeted with the smell of scrambled eggs and bacon. My favorite breakfast dish besides cereal and oatmeal. My stomach rumbled as the smell hit me making me sigh at my impatient stomach, waiting to be fed.
My mom was setting down my plate on the kitchen table and greeted me with a smile saying,"Good morning hun! Ready for school?"
I groaned as I settled in my chair, already chewing on my bacon.
"No. It's gonna be tough and why did summer have to end quickly? I mean three months ago I was enjoying my time outdoors and now I'm going back to school!" I replied sadly.
My mom frowned and patted my shoulder showing me her motherly affection, replying back,"It will be alright sweetie like last year. Anyway, you get to see your friends again since they went to visit relatives last summer."
"Yeah I know, but still..." My eyes wandered toward the clock and I jumped out of my seat as I noticed the time. I was late. Oh my god!
"Shoot! I gotta go mom and where's Vanessa?" I said. I hugged my mom and headed toward the door.
"She got a ride from one of her friend's mom and bye sweetie."
"Of course she did." I waved at my mom and closed the door behind me. I jogged toward my S60 Concept Volvo and opened the driver's seat. As I backed out of the garage I changed the radio station and Rihanna's single "Only Girl (In the World)" blasted through and I cheerfully sang along with it as I made my way through the Oregon streets and sped toward school. This better be a good day.

I opened the school doors to be greeted with students separated in their groups and chatting nonstop. Suddenly, a pair of skinny, but somehow strong arms were wrapped around me and scared the crap right outta me.
"It's so nice to see my dear Arielle again! Gosh, that sounds corny! Did you miss me?"said Seth in my ear.
"Jeesh, Seth you scared me so bad that I almost peed on myself! And yes! I missed you a hell of a lot!" I turned around to give him a bear hug.
"Awesome! I almost made you piss on yourself, but then again I don't want your pee on me," said a cautious Seth as he slowly backed away from me which made me laugh.
"Hey there! You missed the idiot Seth here, but not us! Unacceptable!," a familiar voice yelled unhappily. I turned around to see my other BFF's Jodie and Ruby with crossed arms and and frowns on their faces.
"Hey! I'm not an idiot!," yelled Seth, giving them a dirty look. I ran to my friends and we gathered together to have a blissful group hug.
"Hell yeah I missed you all!," I screamed at them.
"Okay, okay, we believe you," they said together. We laughed.
Seth pulled away. "Hey let's see what classes we have together!"
First Period - English - All of us!
Second Period - Chemistry - All of us!
Third Period - Spanish - Once again all of us!
Fourth Period - Lunch for Juniors - That's us
Fifth Period - French - Me, Jodie, and Seth
Sixth Period - History - Me
Seventh Period - Algebraic Math - Me, Seth, Ruby
Eight Period - Music - Me
Then after a few more looks the bell rang.
I yelled out,"Dammit, I forgot to put my stuff in my locker!" I stamped my foot angrily on the ground. Being late to class was not the way I wanted to begin school at all.
Seth stops from turning around and turned to face me on his heel.
"I could go with you, my gummy bear, if you want to?" Ruffling my hair like a dog, I indicated of slapping his hand away. He frowned and stopped. I shook my head, it was tempting, but I didn't want him to be late. I gave each of them a hug and ran to the section where my locker was. I checked my locker number, grabbed a notebook, and a pen. I checked my phone to realize I was three minutes late. Shoot! I skirted toward the corner and ran toward the left to my classroom. I can't be late, I thought, I just can't.
