A/N: Sorry for the late post, I got a little overwhlemed as usual, but with the new scheduling feature I should be able to post more! Thanks for reading either way 😊

After their encounter was thankfully resolved peacefully; the girls, and Levi all sat together with Solomon and discussed what they would do from here. It dawned on the three the most that moving forward, they would have to work together to ensure all of their safety.

“Okay, so you’re telling me you’re a demon who ran away from home and you’re some wizard who can go to the place he's from?” Quana asked.

“Yes, that sums it up.”

“That’s crazy!” Quana looked to Levi, who had returned to normal. “Why did you run away? You’re putting my friend in a really bad position.”

Levi hunched over. “I know. I didn’t think anyone would have cared if I left!”

“I don’t think they care about that. They were mainly concerned about you being in the human realm without permission.”

Levi sat up with a strained expression. “Right, I’m not important enough for anyone to care that I’m gone.”

Cassie made a face, but didn’t say anything.

“Then what are we gonna do?” Quana said, leaning back.

“Well, I can prevent anyone from finding us for a while, but eventually Diavolo’s going to find us. He’ll probably be upset that I didn’t get you back.”

“Don’t remind me.” Levi rested his head on his knees.

“Can I ask something?” Cassie finally spoke up. “Could you not just run away in the, uh… Devildom?”

“I didn’t have anywhere to go. I came here and used my game as an excuse.” Levi explained.

“Then why are you here? Is there something really bad going on?” Cassie stared right at him and never broke eye contact.

This prolonged staring made Levi blush and he hid his face again. While shaking his head, he mumbled something no one could hear.

“We can’t hear you,” Quana said with a slight huff.

“I said, I can’t tell any of you.” Levi snapped.

With his head tucked away in his arms, it didn’t seem like Levi would tell them, leaving them all at a loss. They sat in silence for a moment, but soon Solomon spoke up.

“At the very least, I have something interesting to keep me occupied.”

“What’s that?” Cassie asked.

“You two.” He pointed at Cassie and Quana. “I used Quana’s bracelet to find you guys—I guess my magic must have shattered it—but I only used that because you both have latent magic within you.

“Are you serious?”

Solomon nodded. “Yes, I’m sure of it. I think that’s why it was easy finding that Levi was hiding out here.” He looked at Cassie. “You said he came through your laptop?”

“Yeah, I don’t know how true this is, but Levi said I apparently summoned him.”

“And you don't remember explicitly doing that?”

Her head shook. “Not at all. I was just lying there when he appeared.”

“Hm, It must have been possible because you have some level of magic power.” He looked at her puzzled. “I don’t know what kind of magic though.”
