Shortly after they enjoyed Barbatos' cooking, they were back outside the castle and walking with Simeon back to the House of Lamentation.
The girls were all following him like a flock of sheep. Unlike their need to question everything when they were around Solomon or Diavolo; right now, it seemed the group didn't care what they were being led into.
"Is that your stuff?"
Their attention was torn when Simeon pointed at their luggage. Seeing it was left exactly as they last saw it, they were relieved.
"Yeah, I'm really shocked no one stole it or anything," Quana said.
"Of course they wouldn't," Simeon began, "this is where the brothers live so no one's reckless enough to try anything."
"This is their house? So we're gonna be staying with them?" Jessica asked.
Cassie then spoke up. "Guys, we didn't even ask about who's staying where."
"You're right, man how'd we forget that?"
The girls each looked to Simeon as he had his back turned to them.
"More like I'm surprised we remembered at all."
Simeon faced them. "Hm?"
"It's nothing, but you wouldn't happen to know anything about where we're staying would you?" Jessica asked.
"Oh, I do. I don't think there's enough space at the house for all of you, so they decided to split you guys up. Two of you are staying here, while the other two are staying at the castle. I'm not going to be around you all unless it's at school or elsewhere, so Diavolo said he trusted Lucifer to be sure you guys were safe and he and Barbatos could more than handle their part."
"Then I call the castle!" Quana exclaimed. They all looked at her. "What? A princess deserves a castle."
"Right, then I'm not leaving you alone with a Demon Lord." Keris stated. "If you guys don't mind, I'll stay at the castle."
"Yeah, it's cool with me." Cassie was quick to answer.
"I'm totally okay with not sleeping near a Demon lord and his servant." Jessica stated.
"Settled with no argument, good. Then let's at least go inside so Lucifer can show you to your room." Simeon said, pushing open the gate.
The girls got their stuff, again with very little resistance, and followed Simeon to the door of the manor. He didn't even knock, just opened the door and announced himself.
While they weren't greeted by anyone, they could all hear a heated discussion somewhere in the house.
Simeon let out a soft chuckle. "Sounds like they're busy."
"People are fighting already? We just got here." Jessica mumbled.
They all went to the source and entered a room with a piano in it. Standing in the middle of the room was one person they recognized and one they didn't.
"I'm unsure why you feel the need to assist anyone."
"Because I don't trust you demons! These are humans and you might taint them with your... bad words."
"Bad words? As if I need to speak to them. Humans are weak and require less than a look to control."
Simeon spoke up. "Oh? Is that something you plan on doing?"
They both looked to the door and the much shorter one ran to Simeon's side.
"Yeah, you better not be planning anything!" The young blonde declared.
