Levi, hearing the noise of a video game, tracked the source down and found Cassie in the common room. She was intently focused on the game in front of her and when he came in, she had just lost a life and was restarting from her last save.
Seeing she was at a tough stage, Levi got closer and was going to sit beside her; but he stopped upon seeing the lump of his brother, Belphie, resting beside Cassie.
"W-what? I thought you two didn't like each other."
"Huh?" Cassie was too focused on her game to formulate a proper response.
Levi watched in a state of horror, but Jessica entered and took a seat on one of the chairs. He went over to her and spoke in a harsh whisper.
"What's going on with them?"
Jessica looked at the pair seeing how comfortably they sat.
"Crazy huh? One second they're fighting over something stupid and next they're like this. I don't know what happened, but ever since Friday, he usually finds her so he can sleep and she usually wants him to sleep near her."
"Seriously? I can't believe they switched so quickly."
"Hey, by the way, didn't you say he's the youngest?"
"Yeah, why?"
Jessica scoffed. "Should have figured. She's the youngest in her family too."
Levi seemed to better understand the sudden friendship. He could almost see similar behaviors between them now that he was told this information. It also made him wonder if Cassie was spoiled back in the human world by her family.
"Yeah, no wonder. Now I'm even more jealous."
Jessica gave him a confused look, but Levi sat down beside Cassie and started giving her tips on what she was doing. At that, she simply moved on, returning to her lounging...
