"I can't believe this is what my summer is going to be like." Jessica stood there with two suitcases and a bag strap digging into her loose shirt. "You know what I had to tell Seko? I had to tell him we were going on a girls trip for the summer."
"And apparently he has no questions about a three month vacation? I bet Seko didn't even ask anything about it," Quana said with a slight giggle.
"You could cheat on him and he probably would never figure it out," Keris said.
"Shut up, Seko just trusts me but I don't like the idea that I had to lie to him."
"Why didn't you just try and explain things to him?" Cassie asked.
Jessica narrowed her eyes. "Oh right, I forgot that this is a totally normal thing that happens to everyone. How stupid am I?" She scoffed. "Look just because you're cool with all this weird stuff doesn't mean I am."
Cassie just smiled while pulling her own bag closer to her side.
"Speaking of that, where are they?" Quana asked.
"They told us just to wait outside your apartment." Keris stated.
"Maybe we shouldn't trust the words of demons." Jessica mumbled.
"Levi hasn't texted me anything. Maybe what they're doing takes a while?"
"Texted you? How?"
"You really got some demon's number, but you freeze up when a human guy wants yours?"
"First of all, that rarely happens and when it does I'm not interested in some guy who told me my ass looks good." They snickered. "And secondly, Levi wanted to be sure I kept up with my weekly quests, he was sending me reminders." She explained.
"Don't know what that is, but why didn't Solomon give me his number?"
Keris smirked. "You want Solomon's number?"
Quana gave a small shrug. "I don't know... I just would have liked it if he offered."
The girls looked at each other while Quana mumbled to herself and ran her fingers through her hair.
"I didn't think you would have wanted my number."
The voice behind them startled both Keris and Jessica. Quana and Cassie were more than used to Solomon and his sneaking around, Quana in fact huffed upon seeing him.
"Well don't just assume stuff about me. I'll have you know I'm more than just a cute face."
Solomon chuckled at her and this only made her slightly clam up.
"Well, I'll give you my number, but I think you'll have to get a different phone."
"Why?"
"Well, in the Devildom, we have these instead of what you all are used to." In his hand was a device that had the exact same appearance as a cell phone.
"Okay, maybe demons aren't that cunning," Jessica said.
"Oh, is that why Levi was telling me I couldn't download certain apps?"
"Yes, while these do look and function exactly like cell phones, they are different. They call them D.D.D." Solomon then held out his palm, inside had a stack of D3s. "Diavolo instructed me to give these to you all, alongside taking you-safely-to the Devildom."
The girls retrieved the D3s and played around with them. Meanwhile, Solomon walked in front of them and crouched down. Seeing him drawing something on the ground, Keris assumed he must have been using magic and got Quana's attention.
