Namjoon looked out of the window to see their car in a well lit, beautiful but kind of unfamiliar neighborhood. He knew this place well since it was especially known for luxury shops, fancy restaurants and huge buildings and Namjoon secretly hoped that he wasn't being taken to some big, fancy restaurant where he would have to constantly be aware of how he handled the cutlery or how he cut his steak.

But thankfully, they drove past there and arrived in a small quaint place. It wasn't hidden but more like people didn't give a second glance as they passed by. Just as he was about to open the door, Yoongi immediately stopped him.

"Wait! Wait a second!"

He got out of the car and ran to Namjoon's side to open his door himself, once again drawing a smile out of him. "And they say chivalry is dead."

"How else am I supposed to gain your favour?"

When they went inside the restaurant, Namjoon immediately noticed some weird looks sent their way; or rather Yoongi's way. For a second he forgot that the man beside him was way overdressed for a quaint place like this but looking at Yoongi himself, it seemed like he didn't care how people looked at him.

"Let's sit there," Yoongi said, his hands lightly pressing on Namjoon's elbow. After they were seated down and the waiter took their orders, Namjoon found himself staring at Yoongi for some reason.

The man was gorgeous, Namjoon wasn't afraid to admit that but there were so many questions as to why he insisted on taking him out on a date. He wasn't an idiot; he researched about him before and he knew Yoongi didn't have any boyfriends in the past, or at least that's what the internet said.

"If I didn't know better, I'd think you're in love with me. Ask away, I can smell curiosity." Namjoon smiled. Minji was quite right when he said Yoongi always knew what was going on in someone's head.

"I feel like I should be flattered but we haven't known each other well. Also as far as I know, you've never dated men. Why me, suddenly?"

"You make good food." Namjoon rolled his eyes, an annoyed smile taking over his face that made Yoongi chuckle. "Okay, I'm sorry. You're interesting and I kinda like you. Just so you know, this is my first official date with a man. I haven't really known about my attraction towards men until recently. What about you?"

"For me, it was kind of a corny start. I started liking a guy, learnt from the people around me that it was bad, so I started being hyper masculine to overcompensate for the fact that I liked men too. So yeah, I always knew about it but never really got many chances to look around. I got a girlfriend, we went strong for a few years and then came Minji." Yoongi immediately noticed the fact that Namjoon's smile became subtly sweeter and dimples deepened as soon as she talked about his daughter.

"Minji," Yoongi started out. "She's really important to you."

"She is; she's my first priority. I have my own life too but even that life consists of her." He stopped for a second and looked at Yoongi. For a second it seemed like he was hesitating but then he spoke up. "Yoongi-ssi, now that you know about this, are you sure you're up to deal with someone who already has a family? It might be so much different than you expect."

"Namjoon." Yoongi's hand came to rest upon his. "I've worked with Minji before I knew you. It might seem like business but when you're beside someone and fight some of the biggest battles with them, you get closer than you'd expect. We've fought together with the rest of our team and we've celebrated together, she's close to all of us; she's one of us. And when I thought about asking you out on a date for the first time, I couldn't and still cannot fathom having to think of you anything without Minji. Of course she's your first priority, she's your daughter and family. She, rightfully, should be your first priority and I'll never think of it any other way. No one should."
