Finally, the day of the party arrived.

Namjoon was just getting into his office when he spotted a few cameras on him within seconds. Maybe his sharp observation skills contributed to Minji's Spider-tingles or whatever.

While technically it should be called a rumour, it wasn't unknown to people Min Yoongi, Iron Man himself, had something going on with a 32 year old single dad who was nothing but an ordinary office worker. On Twitter, someone merely joked about Yoongi being gay.

The same day some news outlet released a blurry picture of Namjoon and Yoongi on a park bench, sitting quite close. The next picture was a zoomed in shot of Yoongi's phone when he was in a Valentino store. The screen showed a picture of Namjoon on his Instagram page which became popular amongst Minji’s classmates for some time.

It was a polaroid of him in a club that his friend took— hair messy but charming, lips bitten red, wearing a brown leather chest harness with choker over a black tank top, his skin looking golden under the lights. He had posted that after drowning some shots and went ahead to dance like some party animal. He later regretted his decision when he saw how many likes and followers the post gathered. Not to mention, so many of Minji's classmates followed him immediately. His simplistic page of books, trees, new food recipes, small animals and little craft suddenly became popular with one sexy picture. After news outlets leaked that picture, Namjoon found even more followers in his humble account, demanding or borderline begging to know if he and Yoongi were in a relationship. He had to close his DMs since some old men fished out his old pictures of joking about a rich boyfriend or sugar daddy and flooded his chats with unsolicited wrinkly dicks and hairy balls.

After that it was a slippery slope for them; Namjoon would be “spotted” outside his office, or apartment or convenience store as if he was some runaway rare albino platypus. His book recommendations led to Twitter discourse of him being a top or a bottom, or just a philosophical dude concerned with geopolitical ramifications in fantasy worlds being a reflection of the real world. Namjoon was ashamed to admit he scrolled through quite some tweets of him being called a “muscle twink dilf” or “cute nerd single dad”. Some even found his history and older clips of him rapping underground. Eventually, poems, short stories and articles he published in small magazines, newspapers or competitions were also released. Overall, it was a little embarrassing for him to go to Minji's Parent-Teacher Meetings when people knew of the rumours, and even saw him with Yoongi during the talent show. Not to mention, they were seen holding hands in the aquarium.

However, it was a relief Minji wasn't in the spotlight yet even though a few twitter accounts shared her pictures. Many bashed them and forced them to delete those pictures considering Minji was a minor and those pictures were taken from her private account. He also wondered if Yoongi had something to do with that.

Sighing out, he walked inside with big steps when he saw one of the “secret” bodyguards, assigned by Yoongi, going behind the bush to catch the guy with camera.

“Yo, Joon!”

“Woah, early for once, Jackson!”

Jackson slid closer on his office chair as Namjoon settled down his bag on his desk. “You know I have some news.”

Oh, Namjoon knew what news it was. That was the sole reason why he didn't look at his friend once since entering. “Did Ms. Lim say anything regarding the budget?”

Jackson just groaned out loud. “No, Joon, she didn't but listen I heard—”

“You should call her once. And tell her if she doesn't settle on it soon we'll have to drop her—”
