Hello my dear readers! Here is the update. I changed the surname of the male lead as per one of my reader's request. The change won't affect the story. Happy reading......
-----------------------------Aadhira
"Wow! What an amazing palace! It's so mesmerizing!", I said while tracing the cold walls of the palace, admiring the flower inscriptions on the wall.
"Aree Madam, please come here and sit. Don't you feel any pain in your legs", Rishi asked me with a sigh.
"Yes, Aadhi. Come here and take some rest. You're roaming all over the palace like a crazy girl. Aren't you feeling any tired?" Diya dragged me to the bench. I sat beside her while looking all over the palace and finally looked at my friends.
"Today is the last day in Udaipur. We will be leaving Udaipur tomorrow and going back to Mumbai. Let me admire the palace to my heart's content" I said, sitting with my idiot friends.
"If you like this palace so much, then why don't you marry the King of Udaipur? I heard that the king stays with his family in another portion of the palace. If you marry him, then you can explore the whole palace day and night to your heart's content. No one can stop you" Sameer said in his teasing tone while munching his potato chips. I grabbed the packet of chips from him while glaring at him.
"Stop your stupid talk, okay? I came here to admire the beautiful architecture. Not to marry the so-called King" I said, munching the chips.
"See here, Sameer. Every girl in this world is dying to marry the King. But here...she is not interested in him. Why are you not interested in him? I mean see his pictures yaar. His looks can kill anyone. He is a very powerful man with a dominating aura", Diya asked me curiously. I looked at the picture of Maharaja Digvijay Singh Suryawanshi which my friend Diya is showing on her phone. I agree he is a very handsome, but there is no gentleness in his eyes. Just looking at his picture can scare anyone.
"Yeah, she is right? Aadhi, he is...." Before Anisha could start, I cut her off.
"Yeah yeah i know very well. Maharaja Digvijay Singh Suryawanshi, the King of Udaipur, he is a very very handsome, one of the top ten richest businessmen in the world, and he is one of the most eligible bachelor, right? Please stop chanting this all the time. I am really tired of hearing his name since we landed on this land" i said with a sigh looking at the group, who all stared back at me with their wide eyes.
"And i don't know why every girl is dying to marry him. Just look at his picture clearly" i grabbed Diya's phone showing it in front of everyone's face.
"Open your eyes wide and look at his picture. I agree that he is handsome but do you feel any kind of a gentle aura from him? No. Just by looking at his picture we can say that he is cold, ruthless, arrogant, dominating man. There is not even a small smile in his lips and his eyes is devoid of any warmth.
We should not be deceived by the appearance. May be you and all girls wants to get marry to him but not me. I want someone who is very simple and can easily understands me, cares for me, supports me in all situations, respects me, trusts me and shares the household chores with me and expresses his feelings to me, be it his love or pain or tears without any male ego. I want to marry someone like that" i said with a small smile, wondering when my Madhav would bring my dream man into my life.
"See my baby sister is very mature even if she behaves like a five year old girl unlike you Diya and Anisha. Learn something from her" Rishi said wrapping his arms around my shoulder and kissed my hair with a proud smile. I looked at Diya, Anisha and Sameer with a wide grin. In return they just scoffed looking at me and Rishi, making us burst into a fit of laughter.
