---------------------------------Aadhira
Is it a new technique of kidnapping? Is it becoming a recent trend for the kidnappers to dress formally?
I closed my eyes, trying to control not to show any sign of fear on my face to the person who is looking at me. After calming myself down, i felt a surge of anger in me. I glared at the person who is maintaining his polite smile. His smile only intensified my anger, it felt like he mocking at me with his smile.
"Calm down, ma'am. Please, get down from the car. We are getting late" he said, slightly moving away from me, so that could come out of the car.
"Why do you think I would obey your commands?" I questioned him, shooting him a furious glare. The person didn't show any sign of anger on his face. Instead his smile widened, sending a shiver of rage to me.
"Don't make it difficult for us, ma'am. Please come out" he said in his polite tone. Fear gripped me when my gaze fell on a pistol tucked inside his belt, beneath his suit.
I should remain calm instead of provoking the person who has a hidden pistol with him. It can be dangerous if the person lost his cool. I better do as he said. I should just wait for an opportunity to escape from him.
With that thought, I unfastened my seat belt, taking my bag from the passenger seat, stepped out of my car. A nervous gulp escaped my throat as my gaze fell on ten imposing men, each wearing coolers and bluetooth device in their ear, their hands tied back, standing around my car wearing a hard expression. I bite my lips when a sudden thought came into my mind.
What if they are working for some mafia leader? Hey Madhav! Please help me. Please let my bhai know about me.
"Ma'am, please hand over your bag, phone and car key. One of our men will drive your car to our destination, so don't worry. After meeting my boss, you can leave with your car" he said, extending his hand to receive my belongings. I nodded my head and handed over him everything he asked for.
"Where is the phone, ma'am?" He asked me after taking my bag pack and key. I wanted to lie to him about not having my phone with me. But changed my mind.
"Inside the bag" i said to which he nodded. The black SUV was driven by one of his men, halting it in front of me.
"Please get in, ma'am" the person with pistol said, opening the back door for me. Without having any option i got into the car. Soon after the person who has pistol also climbed on the passenger seat. The driver is also wearing the similar black suit like the others wearing coolers and bluetooth.
I somewhat felt relieved that they didn't bound my hands or blindfold me. I was even surprised when i was the one on the back seat. I thought someone would sit with me to ensure i wouldn't escape from the car.
"Please, have some water, ma'am" the person with a pistol said, forwarding a water bottle to me. Reluctantly, i took the bottle but i made no effort of taking a sip. After all, there was always the possibility that the water could have been tampered with or spiked.
"The water is clean, ma'am. Its not spiked" the person answered, trying to clear my suspicious. But still i refused to drink the water. I kept the bottle on the seat beside me. I looked outside from the window. The car is on the bustling main road. I saw so many vehicles on the road, urging me to scream at the top of my lungs to seek help from someone. But my rational mind warned me to not to do anything stupid. I even tried opening the car door. But it was locked. My mind was filled with all negative thoughts. The person with pistol looked familiar to me, like i had met him somewhere but i couldn't pinpoint where. And he kept saying that his boss wants to meet me.
