Arkansas jolted awake from his nightmare and listened around. He heard Eugen sleeping and started to calm down. Arkansas sighed and got out of bed and went to the bathroom. He unwrapped the bandages covering his eyes and saw the world yet again.

As Arkansas examined the yellow glowing eye, he noticed infection starting to spread from it. "I have a feeling Purifier has something to do with this." he says. The eye then starts to blink out and his view is gone again.

"Guess it only works for about a minute." he says rubbing his head. "Gives me the most awful headaches though." Arkansas continued as he started wrapping the bandages around his eyes again. Halloween was around the corner and he had a perfect costume indeed, something that complements his blind chaos.

He chuckled and put on his captain's coat and hat which he cut holes into for his ears. Grabbing his cane, he heard Eugen walk in and say "Where you off to this early, handsome?"

Arkansas smiled and said "Work as always, can't have any fun... at least on the week days." Eugen gained a sly smile and kissed Arkansas on the chin. "Alright, we're having zurich ragout for dinner." Eugen says. Arkansas replies "Sounds lovely, dear."

Arkansas walks out of the shared dorm between them and smiles. His relationship with Eugen has gotten to the point he swears they were married or something, and perhaps something further. His smile faded a bit, "I still need to finish everything."

"Everything?" a voice in his head says. Arkansas sighs and says "You know, you're damned annoying in my head. But you're useful at least."

He hears a quick hmph and continues on his walk, eventually arriving at the main academy. He could hear many people setting up decorations for Halloween and getting ready for the part. He walked inside and punched the vending machine which gave him his morning soda.

"Arkansas, how many times have I told you not to do that?" a voice behind him asks. Arkansas only chuckles and says "As many times as I want to, Langley."

Langley only sighed and said "No matter, you got a gunnery class soon, and Halloween is around the corner. Gonna dress up?" Arkansas showed a sly grin and said "Yes, Halloween is the best time of year for someone as chaotic as me."

Langley had a deadpanned stare. "I almost regret asking that." she said. Arkansas continued smiling as he was gathering all the stuff he needed for class before setting out. Arkansas arrived at the door and opened it. "Good morning cla..."

Arkansas ducked as a bucket on the door frame missed. "Aw you missed." a voice said. Arkansas raised up visibly angry with a smile on his face and tilted his head a bit. "Albacore. You'll be in my office after class. Do you understand?"

The blond submarine girl quickly nodded and Arkansas walked up to the whiteboard and started taking stuff out of his bag. "Alright, today's lesson is the effects of gravity and air resistance on gunnery. Even you submarines would be best if you learned this."
