Everyone sat and watched the unconscious Arkansas, some horrified by the changes he had. Le Terrible, one of the shipgirls working directly for Azur Lane Intelligence looked over some paperwork.

She wrote in a final sentence. We can now confirm that Arkansas has absorbed a Siren data cube and is currently undergoing some sort of change.

Nagato stared with a betrayed look. Cleveland a concerned one, but the one most hurt was Prinz Eugen. She sat next to Arkansas and stroke his face. "Why... why didn't you tell me?" She said through tears.

The entire atmosphere was grim with the revelation of what Arkansas has become.

Enterprise who normally had an unphased look was just as surprised as everyone else. She looked over to Essex and said "We'll need to have guards keep an eye on him."

Essex nodded slightly as Vestal rushed by with a blood sample. She inserted it into a test machine and was looking at it.

"Blood is yellow as well, like a Siren's." Vestal said. She sighed and slammed her fist on the table. "Why didn't he tell anyone!?" Vestal shouted.

It was rare seeing the nurse this angry, the last time being when Enterprise refused to get complete repairs.

An hour and a half passed and everyone went on their way except for Prinz Eugen. She finally kissed Arkansas and said "See you later, dear."

Around an hour later, Arkansas woke up, weak, but still alive. He checked around and started getting up. No one was here, everyone was asleep.

Arkansas got dressed and punched out the window. He crawled own, ignoring the cuts he sustained and started walking, albeit, weakly, towards the beach.

When he reached it, he collapsed on the sand panting.

"So.... we finally meet." A voice in front of him said. Arkansas looked up with waning breathing towards it.

"Observer.... Alpha..." Arkansas said weakly. The mentioned Siren chuckled a bit and said "Arkansas. How's that data cube working for you?"

Arkansas only coughed. "Damn thing is... killing me." Observer Alpha crossed her legs and said "What do you expect me to do about it?"

Arkansas sighed and said "A... deal. I give... information, you... stop METAmorphosis."

Observer Alpha only laughed and said "What information could you possibly have?"

Arkansas only adopted a smug grin and said "The.... black.... sun."

Observer Alpha took a more serious look and thought it over. She then asked, "And what do you know about it?"

"It's a machine, I found out about it when I was corrupted by it. A light beckoning me, it corrupted me to do its bidding." Arkansas said.

"I managed to take something from it though. Information." He continued.

Observer Alpha smirked and said "I guess we have a deal."

Arkansas smirked and started to stand up, he started walking back and said "Now for the ter..."

A stabbing sound was apparent throughout the night. Arkansas looked down and saw a sword through his chest.

"You.... lied..." he said as he looked back. Observer Alpha with her devious smile just said "We have no use for allies. But pawns, we do."

"You... won't.... g.. get... away.... w... ith this..." Arkansas said starting to choke for air.

"We already have Arkansas. You'll make a great pawn." She said as she tore out the sword and yellow blood splattered everywhere.
