Lukas bounded up the stairs and headed into his room.

It was definitely smaller and less luxurious than Raven's (why did he keep comparing the two?), but he smiled. It was home. And his dad had been the one to help him paint all the walls dark navy blue, and put together the small, wooden bed frame and rounded study desk.

He quickly changed into more comfortable clothes, simply throwing his school clothes into the laundry basket.

Lukas flopped on his bed, the mattress creaking from his weight, and also because it was so old.

His phone buzzed, and he picked it up.

Raven

Hey, u dead yet?

😟

Lukas grinned. Leave it to Raven Gwon to cheer him up with a simple text message.

Lukas

Nope! Surprisingly not!

Mom let me go after I kinda fought her.

Dw, no actual violence this time.

Raven

Luke, do u SEE y I worry about u?

Lukas

Lol, yeah. Dw, dw tho.

Raven

🙄🙄

Lukas

Pft, lol.

Sass... damn.

I can practically see your face rn

Raven

good.

Just LOOK at me and my beautiful face

Which clearly is judging you

Lukas

You're a very judgmental person.

I have figured that out over the span

of ten years of being friends with you.

Raven

And I've found you're just as judge-y.

😛

Lukas

...

Raven

Imao.

See u tmorw.

Stay alive, idiot

Lukas

Two words that don't fit together.

You can't worry about me, then call me an idiot

Raven

Ok then you're a stupid

Lukas

Makes literally no sense

Bye

Shutting off my phone before you

win this argument again

Also, fix your grammar

Raven

Sooooo sorry

Mister Perfect Grammar

😑

Lukas

Bye. See you tmorw.

You better not sleep in.

Raven

Imma DEF sleep in

;)

Lukas

Do you HEAR me sighing rn?

Ugh, but goodnight anyway

Raven

Good night~

😴

Lukas grinned and placed his phone down.

His mom came in a second later, placing a plate of bread, cheese, and ham. She raised an eyebrow at the look on his face, but said nothing and bid him goodnight before leaving.
